The creepiest but most accurate protests are the ones that go one step farther than what the insane person is demanding. The Youtube video here is spot on.

Fans of the blockbuster movie series “The Avengers” can virtually hang out with six of the stars Tuesday if they contribute to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign. But it’s an actor who’s not attending who’s getting most of the attention on Twitter — and much of it is hate. Chris Pratt, known for his roles in “Guardians of the Galaxy” as well as “Parks and Rec,” was blasted on the social media platform by people who said his conspicuous absence was evidence of his secret support of President Donald Trump. From there, the conversation devolved into criticism of Pratt’s Christian faith...

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy slammed President Trump for holding a high-dollar fundraiser in the state less than one day before he tested positive for COVID-19, accusing the president of needlessly exposing attendees to the virus. “The knowledge that they had before they left for New Jersey — that there was exposure to a COVID-positive individual — that trip was completely unacceptable, completely reckless and completely uncalled for,” Murphy, a Democrat, said during a press conference on Monday. “We don’t need folks coming in, knowingly exposed to a COVID-positive individual, and then be in the midst of a couple of...

Gov. Phil Murphy is urging people who attended President Donald Trump’s fundraiser in New Jersey on Thursday to get tested for the coronavirus and self-quarantine after Trump tested positive. Trump announced just before 1 a.m. Friday that he and First Lady Melania Trump contracted COVID-19 and is quarantining at the White House — hours after he attended a re-election fundraiser at his golf club in Bedminster, possibly exposing attendees.

Left-wing ActBlue raised a record amount of money from Friday evening until Saturday morning following the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. According to ActBlue’s website, which keeps track of donations, Democrat candidates and causes raised nearly $31 million over a 12-hour period, which spanned from 9:00 p.m. Eastern to 9:00 a.m. Eastern on Saturday. The online web tracker for donations was estimating $100,000 per minute for some time in the hours following Ginsburg’s death but slowly trickled. In the hour after Ginsburg’s death was made public, the group reported at least $1.5 million in donations:

Joyce’s Tavern in Staten Island had never been visited by the State Liquor Authority before the pandemic. But they "selfishly" decided to hold a charity event for the Tunnel2Towers organization, which was created to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who died saving others on September 11, 2001. New York City Councilman Joe Borelli, who held a book signing at the tavern last week, explained in an animated Twitter thread on Sunday how the city raided the restaurant without warning. He had an inkling as to why the city targeted this specific restaurant. On Thurs, They let me have...

Donald Trump wrapped his million-dollar fundraising weekend Sunday with an event at the New Jersey beach home of his late friend Stanley Chera, who died of the coronavirus in April, while his aides back in Washington D.C. struggled to explain how the president's executive orders would bring relief to Americans suffering from the pandemic. Trump arrived the home of Chera, a New York real estate developer, on Sunday afternoon, for a fundraiser that brought in $5 million for his campaign coffers. On Saturday he flew to Southampton for two fundraisers in the posh beach town after he signed four executive...

Joe Biden failed to deliver a key line of his stump speech during a much-hyped fundraiser with former primary rival Sen. Elizabeth Warren. "Folks, as my coach used to say, 'It's go to time.' It's go time. Now," the presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee told grassroots donors on Friday, correcting his error. Just 94 days before Election Day, the two-term vice president and 36-year U.S. senator, started the virtual event by thanking roughly 40,000 participants for helping him raise $1.5 million before July's fundraising deadline. Biden called on his supporters to get out the vote by Nov. 3, so together,...

The Trump re-election campaign raised more than $20 million in its first virtual fundraiser that was hosted by President Trump’s son, Donald Jr. “Trump Victory’s groundbreaking fundraising record proves the American people are passionate about gaining four more years under President Trump’s strong leadership,” Trump Victory Finance Committee National Chairman Kimberly Guilfoyle, who also co-hosted the event, said in a statement on Tuesday. Guilfoyle, who is Donald Jr.’s girlfriend, said 300,000 donations led to the fundraising haul. “Across the nation, the SILENT MAJORITY are coming together to donate their valuable time and hard-earned money to help make this President’s re-election...

President Trump’s reelection campaign on Tuesday raked in $20 million in its first virtual fundraiser of the 2020 cycle as it works to maintain its breakneck fundraising pace amid the coronavirus pandemic. The fundraiser, which was hosted by the president's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., and Trump Victory Finance Committee National Chairwoman Kimberly Guilfoyle, comes as Democratic rival Joe Biden raises hefty sums from similar online events, cutting into the once gargantuan gap between his and Trump’s campaign bank accounts. “Trump Victory’s groundbreaking fundraising record proves the American people are passionate about gaining four more years under President Trump’s strong...

Joe Biden's campaign canceled a fundraiser that it had scheduled with a top lawyer from special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. Andrew Weissmann, a former Department of Justice lawyer who had the second-most senior position in the Mueller team, was scheduled to host a "fireside chat" for a June 2 event benefiting the former vice president and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. But according to the Wall Street Journal, the event was canceled shortly after it was planned. After the planned event was revealed last week, President Trump's campaign went on the attack, arguing that...

Last week Oracle co-founder and Chairman Larry Ellison held a fundraiser for President Trump’s re-election campaign at his Rancho Mirage estate near Palm Springs, Calif. At the time the fundraiser was announced, there was silence from The Resistance, which is unusual given the reality of today’s political environment – public figures who support Trump must be shamed and shunned. It turns out about 300 employees of the American multinational computer technology corporation protested Ellison’s fundraiser but they did so the day after the event which seems like an odd way of going about it. Oracle employs about 136,000 people,...

The California winemakers who hosted a dinner at a “wine cave” for Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg are defending the fundraising event. Buttigieg’s political rivals used the recent fundraiser to criticize the South Bend, Indiana, mayor for soliciting campaign contributions from wealthy donors at Thursday’s Democratic presidential debate. Craig and Kathryn Hall, who own the Hall Rutherford winery in Napa Valley, said Friday that they took issue with how their wine cave has been portrayed in the media. “It seems someone’s intentionally trying to create a different image than the reality. And that’s unfortunate,” Craig Hall said. A dispute over...

Here are the photos from inside Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s lavish, closed-door Napa Valley fundraiser that sparked a fierce back-and-forth with Sen. Elizabeth Warren during Thursday’s Democratic debate. The images, tweeted by Recode reporter Teddy Schleifer on Monday, show donors dining with the South Bend, Indiana, mayor in the Hall Rutherford wine caves, beneath a chandelier decked in 1,500 Swarovski crystals. The wine caves also feature an onyx banquet table to reflect the chandelier’s lights and bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon that sell for as much as $900 a pop.

A Democratic state senator from Illinois came under fire over the weekend after pictures were posted online showing his supporters at a fundraising event performing a mock assassination of a faux President Trump. “The tolerant left,” wrote a Facebook user in response to the incident. Photos posted by a woman who witnessed the mock assassination on Friday night show supporters of Sen. Martin Sandoval, who represents Illinois’ 11th District — which includes parts of Chicago — acting out in front of guests, according to WCIA. One of them can be seen pointing a fake machine gun at a man wearing...
