NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - In a week of records surrounding the Republican National Convention, Fox News Channel earned another one with its weekend documentary on vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. "Sarah Palin: American Woman" averaged 2.7 million viewers in its debut at 8 p.m. ET Saturday night, Nielsen Media Research said Tuesday afternoon. That included 673,000 viewers in the adults 25-54 cable news demo. Nielsen said it was the highest-rated primetime documentary ever in the 12-year history of the channel, surpassing high-rated ones recently about Barack Obama and Palin's running mate, John McCain. "Barack Obama: Character & Conduct" averaged...

Fresh polling from Fox News confirms an emerging trend: While his GOP rivals poll competitively or ahead of presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump consistently trails her by a substantial margin. The new national survey shows Ohio Governor John Kasich -- who has no mathematical path to the nomination -- leading Clinton by a whopping 11 points (51/40), with Texas Senator Ted Cruz edging the former Secretary of State by three points (47/44). By contrast, controversial real estate tycoon Donald Trump trails Clinton by 11 points (38/49). Roughly half of registered voters say they'd be "scared" Trump wins the...

The Republican field has narrowed and so has the race for the party’s nomination: front-runner Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are within the margin of error in a new Fox News national poll on the 2016 election.

It would appear the Gov. Chris Christie was right the first time, before he joined Donald Trump’s posse, when he told Fox News host Greta van Susteren that the Donald’s temperament was unsuitable for a man who wanted to be our next President of the United States. The latest example of that temperament was Trump’s call for a boycott of Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, whose first offense against the Trump ego was to question him vigorously on his attitude and remarks toward women in the first Fox News-hosted debate.

My name is more prominent than understanding for before all things ((( (( ( "I AM" ) )) ))) and I became The Foundation for all I created and it is in my wisdom the very heavenlies rest, as my knowledge reveals their place of rest as my understanding is the tongue and spirit as a thread and needle led by my love to hold all these things together and so it is that I have created a gown of protection and warmth for my church and Bride drawn and sewn from my light for this pleases The Father of...

Glenn Beck is whining again, this time on Facebook. Seems the feud that wouldn’t die between Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump has started again with Megyn Kelly whining on her show about it and Fox News issuing ‘strong language’ statements in response.

Please enjoy this Supreme Court-related segment from yesterday's Media Buzz wherein liberal panelist Tamara Holder (a) misunderstands my initial point completely, (b) offers several misstatements about history and the constitution, and (c) interrupts my final answer with a question -- the response to which she was not prepared for, via Right Sightings: Guy Benson Schools Tamara Holder on Media Spin of SCOTUS Nomination In these circumstances, one must pick one's spots, so I chose not to correct Ms. Holder on her Bork comparisons, which were incorrect both regarding the year in which that confirmation battle took place (she was off by nearly...

On “Fox News Sunday,” veteran journalist Bob Woodward said the Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton’s campaign and smart Democrats are seriously worried about Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump bringing in new voters to the election process who normally don’t vote.

At this point, whatever happens, the GOP’s chances of winning this election is at best 25%, if Cruz is the nominee. If Trump is the nominee, that falls to 3% at best. The problem is; Trump won’t win … and he won’t let himself lose. If he loses the nomination, I see two possibilities; 1) He immediately endorses his friend, Hillary Clinton. His promises are as genuine as a three dollar bill. 2)He waits until mid-October, when all the ballot papers are printed, and then he’ll endorse his friend, Hillary Clinton.

John flagged Trump’s latest Twitter attack on Kelly in this post last night but you should read Fox’s reply too. Imagine: This guy can all but break the back of conservative resistance to him and become the prohibitive favorite for the Republican nomination by beating Cruz handily in Arizona and Utah on Tuesday night — and this is what he’s busy stewing about. He has a general election campaign coming up, he has fundraising to think about, he has a convention to plan, and he’s sitting in front of his TV fulminating about one of the two hours of programming...

One of the strangest feuds of the 2016 election cycle has not been Donald Trump vs. Ted Cruz or Hillary Clinton vs. Bernie Sanders. Rather, the weirdest battle of the campaign has pitted Trump, the mercurial Republican front-runner, against Megyn Kelly, the Fox News superstar. Trump reopened hostilities when he tweeted, "Everybody should boycott the @megynkelly show. Never worth watching. Always a hit on Trump! She is sick, & the most overrated person on tv."

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) 45% explained his decision to meet with President Barack Obama’s nomination to fill the Supreme Court vacancy, Judge Merrick Garland. Flake acknowledged GOP senators were doing the proper thing to put off any action on Obama’s pick, but added that in the event Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton should be elected president, Garland should be given consideration. “I think that Republicans are doing the right thing,” Flake said. “We’re fully justified in saying, ‘Let’s wait until after the election to actually nominate someday or approve the president’s nomination.’...

Women are turning against Donald Trump, according to a new poll — something Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly was quick to highlight Thursday on Twitter.

What's that famous saying? "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." It's time for Ted Cruz to wake up and make the phone call that changes history, changes the GOP, changes the course of America. It's time to face reality. Donald Trump will be the 2016 GOP presidential nominee. Only Trump has a path to the nomination. Ted Cruz is delusional if he thinks he can win the nomination...or deserves to win the nomination. He was shut out on Tuesday night. Shut out as in zero, zilch, zip, nada. It was Trump 4, Kasich 1, Cruz 0, Rubio cut from...

No Trump, no show. Earlier today, Donald Trump announced that he wasn’t going to participate in the next GOP debate, which was scheduled to take place in Salt Lake City next week. Trump told Fox News “I think we’ve had enough debates,” and would instead be “making a major speech in front of a very important group of people.” Reaction to this was split. If you like Trump, you think that he doesn’t need to debate anymore. He just came off a series of major wins, and another night at the podium does nothing but give his detractors an opportunity...

SALT LAKE CITY — The GOP presidential primary debate scheduled for Monday has been canceled, a representative for the Salt Palace Convention Center confirmed Wednesday. The debate was canceled following Donald Trump’s announcement that he wouldn’t be attending and a subsequent announcement from the campaign strategist for Gov. Donald Trump will miss the final Republican presidential debate to address a major pro-Israel lobbying organization instead, according to an insider. “Hearing that Trump secured a Monday night speaking slot at AIPAC conf. in D.C,” tweeted Noah Pollak, executive director of the Emergency Committee for Israel, referencing the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. “Also happening that night: [the] Republican debate in Salt Lake City,” he added, alluding to the 13th GOP presidential contest on March 21. Fox News announced on Monday that it is hosting next week’s contest in Salt Lake City -- its fourth event this presidential election. Trump...

Megyn Kelly will, for at least an hour, jump from Fox News Channel to Fox prime time. The Fox News anchor, whose stature has grown during the most recent election cycle as she has tangled with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, will host a one-hour prime-time special on Fox Broadcasting. During the one-hour special Kelly will interview celebrities from the worlds of politics, entertainment and other areas of human interest. She will also discuss the year she has had covering the 2016 presidential campaign. The special has been in the works for some time. Roger Ailes, chairman and chief executive,...
