WASHINGTON — Speaker Paul D. Ryan on Tuesday called Donald J. Trump’s criticism of a Hispanic-American judge “the textbook definition of a racist comment” and said he “regrets” the remark. But Mr. Ryan also reiterated his support for Mr. Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, against Hillary Clinton. “I disavow these comments — I regret those comments that he made,” Mr. Ryan said after announcing a new Republican anti-poverty initiative in Anacostia, an overwhelmingly black neighborhood in Washington. “Claiming a person can’t do their job because of their race is sort of like the textbook definition of a racist comment,”...

Here we go again. Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump has done it this time. His attacks on the Mexican heritage of federal Judge Gonzalo Curiel clearly show that Trump's campaign is off the rails. The proof is that even prominent Republican leaders like House Speaker Paul Ryan and former Speaker Newt Gingrich have disavowed themselves from Trump's attacks on the judge. Surely, this is the beginning of the Trump campaign's self-destruction! Not so fast my friends. Let me rewrite the opening paragraph to represent the true Trump strategy here, one I don't endorse but still recognize for what it is:...

I was stunned over the weekend when Newt Gingrich went hard after Donald Trump for the real estate mogul's comments about the ethnicity of a judge overseeing a case involving Trump University. *snip* Given that back and forth, I reached out to Gingrich to see what he made of the hubbub — and whether it had changed his generally positive views on Trump. It has not. Here's what Newt told me: Trump is going to be fine as a candidate. He is learning very rapidly. When [Ted] Cruz dropped out so early it took away the 60 days Trump and...

On Thursday night Trump supporters were assaulted, spit on, beaten, cold-cocked, egged, chased, tackled and bloodied as they left the San Jose Trump rally by mobs of far left, Mexican nationalist, Socialist, SEIU and anarchist thugs. Trump supporters were left bloodied and beaten in the street. The San Jose police chief admitted he held back from interfering when the conservatives were beat down in the streets. Video released on Monday shows street thugs terrorizing and beating Hispanic Trump supporters. ... Speaker Paul Ryan has posted over 50 tweets since Friday morning. Not once did he mention the Republican beatdown. Senate...

On June 2, a few days before the California primary, Hillary Clinton gave up trying to compete with Bernie Sanders on domestic policy. Instead, she zeroed in on the soft target of Donald Trump’s most “bizarre rants” in order to present herself as experienced and reasonable. Evidently taking her Democratic Party nomination for granted, she is positioning herself as the perfect candidate for hawkish Republicans. Choosing to speak in San Diego, home base of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, on a platform draped with 19 American flags and preceded by half an hour of military marching music, Hillary Clinton was certain...

Sen. Bernie Sanders supporters were recently caught on camera beating each other up, mistaking each as Donald Trump supporters. In the video, which was uploaded to YouTube Friday, rowdy protesters are seen getting more violent with each other, thinking the others were Trump supporters. Towards the end of the one-minute video, the crowd begins to chant “Bernie! Bernie!” The fight broke out during the protest of the Trump rally at San Jose Thursday. The protesters attacked Trump supporters in other instances, pelting them with eggs, burning “Make America Great Again” hats and American flags. San Jose police widely condemned the...

SAN JOSE --Police Eddie Garcia acknowledged his department did not have enough officers to control the violence at Thursday night's Donald Trump rally in downtown. There was a little more than 250 police officers, many in riot gear, in and around the convention center, including from neighboring cities such as Campbell, Palo Alto, Milpitas and Gilroy, and also the CHP.

"... an exercise in blame-shifting." A Twitter user going by the name Houdini, who identifies himself as a Black Muslim, has been celebrating his takedown of a white Trump protester during Thursday’s anti-Trump protests in San Jose. Coverage of the man’s self-congratulating publicity on The Gateway Pundit revealed him to be Seyfudin Mohamud, a Somali native who had come to California from Minnesota. He posted selfie videos from the protest, including one in which his clothes match those seen in an ABC News video of violence at the rally.

The San Jose police department is under increasing scrutiny over charges that they allowed Trump supporters to be attacked by violent rioters following a Trump event. What has gone largely unreported, is that police chief Eddie Garcia is affiliated with the far left group La Raza.

San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo gave police stand down order during anti-Trump riots So why was San Jose’s police department so bad in controlling the anti-Trump riots this week? Turns out Mayor Sam Liccardo gave the police a stand down order during the riots. Sam Liccardo is a card carrying Hillary Clinton supporter and far left nut job. San Jose is a shit hole, so now it all makes perfect sense. LIccardo had the nerve to blame the victims of mob attacks after a Trump speech, a lot of whom were waving Mexican flags. San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo gave...

Embittered "#NeverTrump" consultants and bloggers are ragging on Republican voters who support presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump telling them they "deserve to be beaten" as Americans are chased down and assaulted for merely attending a political rally.

Ben Howe, a leader of the dwindling so-called #NeverTrump group of moderate bloggers, pundits, and political consultants on the right, mocked the defenseless woman in San Jose whom protesters pelted with bottles, eggs, and food on Thursday night. Howe, who is a RedState contributing editor, has been leading the growingly embarrassing so-called #NeverTrump movement of moderate “movement conservative” political consultants, pundits, and bloggers upset over Trump’s victory in the Republican primary. When he received backlash over his mocking of the woman covered in egg yolks thanks to anti-Trump protesters, he aimed to draw a moral equivalence between a woman being...

On Friday, the police department of San Jose, California, issued a statement in which it said that concerns were raised that protecting Trump supporters at a campaign rally in the city might have further inflamed the socialist, anti-American mob that fell on the rally like a pack of wild mongrel dogs. According to the statement, the SJPD held off on arresting the thugs seen committing crimes because it “had the difficult task of weighing the need to immediately apprehend the suspect(s) against the possibility that police action involving the use of physical force under the circumstances would further insight the...

After an entire day of getting abused on Social Media by angry Trump supporters and having nearly nobody come to his defense, the Idiot mayor attempted to backtrack a bit. However he could not help but throw in one more jab at Trump which infuriated the majority even more. Here are the top comments on Sam Liccardo’s Facebook page as of right now: snip, read at source

A twitter account posted an offering of a $20,000 reward to anyone providing the identity of an anti-Trump rioter who sucker punches an older Trump supporter in the face.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — This Silicon Valley city and its police department are facing mounting complaints of a tepid and tardy law enforcement response to attacks of Donald Trump supporters after a political rally. Videos circulating online show physical clashes occurring in front of San Jose police officers dressed in riot gear and standing stoically in a line outside the convention center where Trump spoke. Critics also complained that assaults occurred on side streets near the venue that lacked police presence. “Potentially more could have been done,” said San Jose Councilman Pierluigi Oliverio, chairman of the council’s public safety...

San Jose mayor @sliccardo unlawfully ordered police to allow Trump rally attendee to be attacked. This is a federal civil rights violation.— Mike Cernovich (@Cernovich) June 3, 2016 Fantasy? Mark Levin came out firing in response to the disgusting street riots in San Jose last night outside a Donald Trump rally. The protesters were carrying Mexican flags, burning American flags, and assaulting Trump supporters as well as police officers. Levin said, at this point, its not only an attack on the right, or on Trump, but "an attack on America." Levin spent the first 10 minutes of his radio program absolutely eviscerating the rioters: Listen here:

Esquire magazine writer Charles Pierce must be in a state of panic after the events following yesterday's Donald Trump rally in San Jose, California when anti-Trump protesters violently attacked Trump supporters. Last week Pierce wrote that such attacks only help Trump and that has him extremely worried. Unfortunately for him, even some his fellow liberal journalists such as Emmett Rensin, who was today suspended from Vox, still haven't got a clue on just how incredibly counter-productive such riots are.
