The numbers don't lie. Across the entertainment industry, viewers and fans are tuning out. It's no coincidence ratings are cratering as unhinged celebrities crank up their anti-Trump and anti-American antics. Pro tip, Tinseltownies: Swapping your jazz hands for middle fingers and waving resistance fists at your customer base is bad for business. Let us count the waning ways. Emmy emetics. Who wanted to see smirking Stephen Colbert lead a cast of Botoxed starlets and men in hot pants, handing out TV industry awards to diamond-draped elites hoisting up their gilt statues as emblems of victory on behalf of the hegemonically...

The Emmys ceremony is a giant production, and TV viewers only get to see a glimpse of the whole shebang. Here are some moments that weren’t featured on TV that we got to witness firsthand at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. 1. Air conditioners… outside This is the first year that the Red Carpet got air conditioning. After last year’s heat wave, stars and press were treated to much cooler temperatures this year than last year. (Interestingly, the show opened with a sketch in which Allison Janney worried about several problems, including global warming.)

This morning Ed wrote about the anticipated (and delivered) crash and burn of the ratings for last night’s Emmys. I suppose I contributed to that in a small way since I was watching football. In my Twitter feed, I only saw two of the conservatives I follow commenting on the show so that seemed to be a fairly common practice among our tribe. The initial scoring put them in position to be one of the worst rated Emmys outings of the modern era. This led a few timid voices to meekly suggest this morning that just perhaps the show needs...

Ah, the Emmys. It’s just another award show that panders to those that believe everything they hear on both the news and politically-driven entertainment shows. Perhaps the most laugh-worthy quote of the night came when “Saturday Night Live†cast member Kate McKinnon won her second straight Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a comedy series. In accepting one of the many false idols that Hollywood likes to dole out on a yearly basis, McKinnon gave a special shout out to former Democratic presidential nominee for president Hillary Clinton. “On a very personal note, I want to send a thank you...

People are starting to tune out awards shows like the Emmys because they have become so politicized, White House aide Kellyanne Conway said Monday. "It’s — between the Emmys, the Miss America pageant was very politicized. Our sports are very politicized," Conway said on Fox News. "And it looks like the ratings are suffering. It looks like America is responding by tuning out, because they want you to stick to your knitting," she continued. "They want you to, I guess, in this case, read the stuff other people write for you. And so they are welcome to their opinion, but...

“The Emmys are a Hollywood bubble show," Media Research Center vice president Dan Gainor told Fox News. "Actors and directors get to pretend they are important because they are doing such insightful takes on life in America, when they have zero idea what life in America is for the other 330 million people." “Hollywood won’t walk away from politics. The left wants to force politics into every single aspect of our lives -- from sports to movies to the food we eat. They won’t be satisfied until we are all appropriately woke to their struggles du jour,” Gainor told Fox...

The 69th Emmy Awards are looking as though they’ll be at or near an all-time low in the ratings. CBS’ live telecast of the awards is currently showing a 2.1 rating in adults 18-49 and 9.58 million viewers, compared to 2.5 and 9.69 million in last year’s preliminary ratings. CBS has ordered time zone-adjusted ratings, and we’ll update this post when they come in. Last year’s ceremony finished with a 2.8 and 11.3 million viewers and was the least-watched Emmy show on record. Elsewhere, “The Orville” is currently showing fairly steady numbers vs. its premiere, although it started after 8:30...

The star of HBO's Insecure proudly spoke about her support for black nominees at the Emmys last night in an awards ceremony that had historic wins for minority stars. 'I'm rooting for everybody black,' Issa Rae said from the red carpet. 'I am!' The 32-year-old actress and writer also praised the number of African-Americans recognized for their talents in the TV industry.

I didn't Watch the Emmys being too Politicized and I was Right. It's the same reason I don't watch ESPN. These venues have been hijacked by the Left and I am just not interested. Please Emmys, ESPN leave off the vicious campaigning as I'm only going to tolerate it during campaign season and not in these venues.

The "EMMY Awards", dying on the vine, Colbert should join his failed Democrat Liberal Loser, sister who was beaten like a rabid dog by a "Wife Cheating Governor, Sanford in a recent congressional election. Truth be known, The Emmys are dead, Hollywood is dead, ESPN is dead and the NFL has killed itself by catering to low life Black racist, anti-Americans. As for Sean Spicer.....few words are needed to describe his actions, like traitor, turncoat & political prostitute!!! Better description of Sean.... Gold chasing whore!!!

It’s hard to recall a season when Hollywood has been so harshly at odds with so much of its potential audience. On Wednesday, Robert Redford became the latest in a growing string of celebrities to pepper the summer/fall film promotions with reprimands and recrimination. “We’ve lost our moral foundation,” the Oscar winner told Esquire, speaking of the year-ago presidential election in an interview keyed to the upcoming Netflix release of Our Souls at Night, in which the small-minded gossips of small-town Colorado cluck at his senior moment with Jane Fonda. “We’re the ones who let that happen. We should be...

NBC’s variety series “Saturday Night Live,” re- invigorated with its lampooning of President Donald Trump, and HBO’s “Westworld” scored a leading 22 nominations Thursday for the 69th annual Primetime Emmy Awards. He might not have won the Republican nomination for president, but Jeb Bush stole the spotlight during the cold open at the 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday. The scene begins with Jimmy Kimmel trying to use Uber to hail a limo and finding Julia Louis-Dreyfus inside. Channeling her character from the critically acclaimed HBO series Veep!, Louis-Dreyfus tells Kimmel: 'We are so pleased that you're hosting tonight's Academy Awards.'

Bush appeared in the skit dressed as a limo driver hailed by Kimmel as he frantically sought a ride to the annual television awards show in downtown Los Angeles. "I'm in between jobs right now," says Bush, sporting a cap. "You know you can make $12 an hour driving for Uber?" He then asks Kimmel what it's like to be nominated -- a self-effacing nod to his failed bid for the Republican presidential nomination, which was eventually won by Donald Trump.

.....a bit starring Emmy host Jimmy Kimmel, who was being driven in O. J. Simson’s Ford Bronco, trying to get to the big show. But the edgy tone had been set. After hitching rides with the cast of Modern “Family” and James Corden, Kimmel wound up in a limo driven by former presidential candidate Jeb Bush. ...Upon learning Kimmel was nominated for an Emmy, Bush gave him some advice. “If you run a positive campaign, the voters will ultimately make the right choice,” Bush deadpanned before adding, “Jimmy, that was a joke, and shave that wig off your face you...
