    In the meantime, Emanuel's West Wing pals hilariously presented him with a dead fish as a leaving present (an in-joke). And not the best of optics, either, given the old Russian proverb that a fish rots from the head down. On Wall Street they'd call it a dead cat bounce but for the White House, come November, any "reset" for the Obama administration will turn out to be a dead fish bounce.

    Here is some more information on Rahm that I was not aware of. How interesting that Obama's first pick is a guy who became rich via Investment Banking in a very short period of time. Does this have the "appearance of corruption", or does it make sense that someone with no banking or finance credentials what-so-ever waltz into a gig like this after serving as a consigliore of the Clinton family? This is the legal 'revolving door', it's how corruption is done by both parties. He went for a guy who got his first banking job at a $6 million...
