It’s all but impossible to find for those who don’t know what they’re looking for. Room 121 rests at the end of an isolated hallway across the street from the Capitol, is locked at all times and has no signage whatsoever. The only indicator of its existence is a peephole outside the front door. The special Department of Motor Vehicles office is closed to the public, and if one Republican gets his way, it will be closed to the lawmakers and Capitol staff members using it. Great idea until you realize you’ll be attending something akin to the local DMV To appreciate health care under the Insane Left’s “Medicare for All,” just visit your local, dysfunctional government office. Let me relate what happened to me when I tried to acquire a driver’s license at the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles and a replacement Social Security card as I did recently in Manhattan, and extrapolate this to health care. Surmise how many hours I spent going from office to office, and returning home or online to get another piece of identification.

WUSA9 reports that the Prince George Police Department announced the arrest of five suspects connected to the notorious Mara Salvatrucha-13 (MS-13) street gang after the gruesome discovery of a slain 16-year-old boy stabbed more than 100 times and lit on fire in a Virginia field on March 9th.Police told local media that the victim, Jason Chicas, was also part of the "MS-13 clique" in question. An internal audit from the California Department of Motor Vehicles released Monday shows about 1,500 customers may have been improperly registered to vote. “Approximately 1,500 customers may have been registered to vote in error,” the DMV wrote in a letter Monday to the Secretary of State’s Office. “This error has been corrected and is separate from the processing error we notified you about in writing on September 5.” Non-citizens are among the affected customers, according to Jessica Gonzalez, a DMV spokeswoman. Gov. Jerry Brown on Friday ordered a performance audit of the state Department of Motor Vehicles in response to the public outcry over hours-long wait times and repeated computer crashes that delayed serving customers. Last week California’s Department of Motor Vehicles sent 23,000 “erroneous” voter registrations to the office of Secretary of State Alex Padilla, who maintains the list of registered voters. The DMV blamed it technical errors and said none of the erroneous registrations involved undocumented immigrants. A California Department of Motor Vehicles employee took naps on the clock for up to three hours a day for nearly four years with her supervisor’s knowledge, according to a new report released Tuesday by the state auditor. The employee, who has not been named, has cost taxpayers over $40,000, according to The Sacramento Bee. “From February 2014 through December 2017, the employee misused more than 2,200 hours of work time as a result of sleeping on the job,” the report states. “We believe that the employee likely slept for at least three hours each day.” The employee’s superiors knew...

And the employee still works there. Between February 2014 and December 2017, the employee snoozed through an estimated 2,200 hours’ worth of work, costing California taxpayers more than $40,000, the audit said.
