CHICAGO — Gun violence in Chicago over the weekend has left more than a dozen people dead, including three children. From Friday evening through midnight Monday, 16 people were killed and 47 were injured. Now, a group of Chicago business owners are offering thousands of dollars to find the killers of these child victims. Just before 10 p.m. Saturday night, a stray bullet came through the window of an apartment on the 3500 block of Dickens Avenue in Logan Square and struck Lena Nunez in the head. Police believe two groups were firing at each other outside the apartment, when...

More than a million deceased people got government stimulus checks amounting to nearly $1.4 billion. This is less than 1 percent of the total stimulus payments that Congress shelled out as of April 30, says the Government Accountability Office. Still, you’ve got to admire how far Democratic bureaucrats in the Deep State will go to benefit one of their most reliable constituencies. Think of how many of those deliciously free dollars flowed to the cemeteries in Chicago alone. Another Democrat in good standing, Bill Clinton appointee U.S. District Judge Lynn S. Adelman, rushed to the ramparts to aid strip clubs...

Sixteen elk died sometime during the winter at an eastern Idaho wildlife management area when a stack of hay containing 2,000-pound (900-kilogram) bales collapsed and fell, crushing some of the elk and causing others to be trampled to death. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game said Saturday that it appears the elk broke through a high fence and ate at the bottom of the haystack, causing it to collapse. The haystack is on the Tex Creek Wildlife Management Area about 15 miles east of Idaho Falls. Fish and Game officials investigated after receiving a report from a concerned citizen....

President Donald Trump has said he knows something of the North Korean leader’s condition – but he won’t disclose it. NORTH KOREA THIS WEEK provided halting signs that leader Kim Jong Un remains in power and control as sensational reports circulated unabated across the world claiming he is grievously ill or perhaps even dead. Though their significance is disputed, a series of dispatches were reportedly issued in Kim's name to Syria, Cuba and South Africa as well as a letter of praise for local workers. But, as is historically the case when issues arise about its leader's fitness, signals from...

You can’t stop the music, even when its creator has shuffled off this mortal coil. That’s evident in the makeup of our Halloween-spooky ranking of highest-paid dead celebrities, where nine musicians grace the list of 13, up from just six a year ago. Even as physical sales continue their long decline, those nine acts—including Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Nipsey Hussle—generated 15.2 billion streaming spins over the past year in the U.S., up 38.5% from the prior 12 months. That sort of consumption offers the departed a second career from beyond the grave.
