The Delaware computer repair man who revealed Hunter and Joe Biden’s email dealings with a Burisma executive told reporters that the FBI had asked him to stay quiet about his acquisition of Hunter Biden’s laptop after they recovered the device through federal subpoena. John Paul Mac Isaac owns a Delaware Mac computer repair store. He came into possession of Hunter Biden’s water-damaged laptop in 2019. When the younger Biden never returned to his store to pay for the repairs Isaac carried out on the device, the Mac legally became the property of Isaac under the terms of the repair agreement...

A group of more than 50 law professors sent a letter Friday to the Senate Judiciary Committee expressing their support for Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation to the Supreme Court and calling her qualifications “stellar.” In a letter to Chairman Lindsey Graham and ranking Democratic member Dianne Feinstein, obtained by National Review, the 53 law signatories identified themselves as a “diverse” group representing many fields and perspectives and holding “widely differing views about the President and the timing of this nomination.” “We share the belief, however, that Judge Barrett is exceptionally well qualified to serve on the Supreme Court of...

A broad coalition of lawmakers, public interest groups, and grassroots citizens rallied behind Amy Coney Barrett in her first day of hearings today for confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court. According to senators on the Judiciary Committee evaluating her nomination, Barrett handled the first day of hearings with grace, humility, and tenacity. “[Barrett] acknowledged the fact that so much of what the Democrats said today was bunk, and she did it with a smile, and she did it without having to use the word jackwagon or anything close to it,” Sen. Mike Lee of Utah said. “She did it by...

The Washington Post took a shot at making its own version of the 1619 Project for George Floyd. "Born with two strikes - How systemic racism shaped Floyd’s life and hobbled his ambition," the paper owned by the richest man in the world falsely claims. Floyd, you see, wanted to be a Supreme Court justice. But a racist country just kept arresting him for drugs, theft, and... armed robbery. But the Post does its best to dance around that by writing about anything and everything except Floyd's crimes. "Early in life, he wanted to be a Supreme Court justice. Then,...

Republican Joe Collins, a Navy veteran challenging Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters in California’s 43rd Congressional District, launched a campaign ad Saturday blasting the congresswoman for residing outside the district she represents while her constituents “suffer the consequences” of her policies. “Maxine does not live in her district. But I do. I was born right here in South L.A., in a place Maxine refuses to live,” Collins says in the ad. “Maxine Waters does not drink our water. She does not breathe our air. And while she sits here in her mansion, our district is in ruins.” ... Do you know...

The far-left Washington Post buried the news one of the alleged plotters in the scheme to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) is a Black Lives Matter supporter. You have to trudge through more than a dozen paragraphs to find this: One of alleged plotters, 23-year-old Daniel Harris, attended a Black Lives Matter protest in June, telling the Oakland County Times he was upset about the killing of George Floyd and police violence. But-but-but I was told by the media, Joe Biden, and Whitmer all the plotters are right-wing, racist, militia men inspired by Donald Trump!!!

  • Federal Judge Tells DC Mayor She Can’t Restrict Capitol Hill Baptist Church Meetings

    The Epoch Times ^ | OCTOBER 10, 2020 | MARK TAPSCOTT
A federal judge granted Capitol Hill Baptist Church’s request for a preliminary injunction against Mayor Muriel Bowser allowing the congregation to resume worship services in the District of Columbia. “The Court determines that the church is likely to succeed in proving that the District’s actions violate [the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993] RFRA,” wrote U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia Judge Trevor McFadden in a decision late Friday. “The District’s current restrictions substantially burden the church’s exercise of religion. More, the District has failed to offer evidence at this stage showing that it has a compelling interest...

In his first public event since contracting COVID-19, President Trump told several hundred mostly minority and vocal supporters at the White House that Blacks and Hispanics are rejecting the Democratic Party’s turn toward socialism and embracing his law-and-order message. “Black and Latino Americans are rejecting the radical socialist left, and they are embracing our pro-jobs, pro-worker, pro-police … and pro-American agenda,” Mr. Trump said in an 18-minute address from a White House balcony overlooking the crowd on the South Lawn. The president said the members of Blexit, a group headed by conservative Black activist Candace Owens, understand that “to protect...

A D.C. church that filed suit against the District of Columbia has won injunctive relief from a federal judge and can begin holding church services in the city again. Capitol Hill Baptist Church sued after twice being denied permission from the city to hold outdoor church services during the pandemic. While the lawsuit has not been decided, the judge’s decision in the case states that the church “is likely to succeed” in proving the District had hindered the church in holding services in violation of the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

  • WaPo Tries - and FAILS - to Debunk Trump’s Claim That America’s Most Dangerous Cities Are Run By Dems

It must be difficult to be on staff at The Washington Post -- or subscribe to it, or advertise with it – without feeling profound embarrassment. On June 25, the “WaPo” offered what its editors seem to have thought was a potent attack on President Trump. The piece was an “analysis” by Philip Bump titled, “Trump Keeps Claiming The Most Dangerous Cities In America Are Run By Democrats. They Aren’t.” But for the WAPO, the trouble is that this “debunking” actually confirmed President Trump’s June 24 observation that the most dangerous cities in America are, in fact, run by Democrat...

More than 30 U.S. senators have joined a lawsuit filed against coronavirus limits placed on a Washington, D.C., Baptist church by the city’s mayor, according to a report. Mayor Muriel Bowser – who gained national attention by ordering the words “Black Lives Matter” painted in the street outside an Episcopal church near the White House that was visited by President Trump in June – has prohibited a different church, the historic Capitol Hill Baptist Church on A Street, from holding outdoor services in the city, citing efforts to slow the spread of the virus. But earlier this month the Department...

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said “everything is on the table” if Democrats win a majority of the Senate, including making Puerto Rico and Washington, DC, states. “I’m not busting my chops to become majority leader to do very little or nothing. We are going to get a whole lot done. And as I’ve said, everything, everything is on the table,” the New York Democrat said on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” on Wednesday.... Host Joy Reid asked Schumer if statehood would be on the table for Washington and Puerto Rico if Democrats control the chamber next year. “I would — believe...

The Washington Post reports that Amy Coney Barrett was infected by the Wuhan coronavirus this summer. It says Barrett’s infection has been confirmed by “three officials familiar with her diagnosis.” Judge Barrett has recovered from the virus. The Post’s report doesn’t say what her symptoms, if any, were. However, she is female, relatively young and slim, and seemingly in good general health. Thus, it’s unlikely that she was ever at serious risk from the infection.
