Back in June I posted This thread about Datil Pepper plants. Instead I grew my own plants from seed and now I have 4 plants and peppers just starting to turn yellow. Now I'm looking for a recipe to make Datil Pepper sauce. If nobody has a recipe even an ingredient list from a sauce like Datil Doit will do so I get a basic idea of what kinds of ingredients they use and I can wing it from there. I already make my own Tabasco sauce and Habanero sauce so if any of you are looking for a recipe...

I have some friends going to St. Augustine next week and I'd like them to pick me up some Datil peppers, maybe even a plant. Where is the best place to get some? Do they have them in the produce section of the local supermarkets like Publix or do you have to seek out a local grower? I've just started some plants from seeds I bought online but if I could get some peppers right from the source I could not only have something to eat now I'd have more seeds for future projects. Thanks in advance for any pointers.
