“Today I informed the management at Breitbart News of my immediate resignation,” the reporter at the center of the controversy at the conservative site told BuzzFeed News, the week after Trump’s campaign manager allegedly grabbed her. Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields and editor-at-large Ben Shapiro are resigning from the company over the site’s handling of Donald Trump’s campaign manager’s alleged assault on Fields, BuzzFeed News has learned. Fields and Shapiro informed Breitbart News chairman Steve Bannon of their decision Sunday night. “Today I informed the management at Breitbart News of my immediate resignation,” Fields said in a statement sent to BuzzFeed...

My title. Fields told FOX she was "Violated" by the Trump camp "This is disgusting," Shapiro said. "No news outlet would stand for it." Breitbart News has not commented on the resignations. The Fields incident came a week after a Time magazine photographer was thrown to the floor by a Secret Service agent at another Trump rally and amid escalating concerns over the rhetoric used by the Republican frontrunner. Trump has come under mounting criticism — from Democrats and from Republican rivals — for failing to fully denounce violent incidents at his events and for creating a climate where such...

Several journalists have been caught lying to the public and committing fraud, new video footage reveals. Before we begin analyzing the Michelle Fields hoax, watch this video, which surfaced last night. This video clip shows Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski (the man in short cropped hair), moving past Michelle Fields (the handsome woman in glasses). Consider how deep this media hoax goes. Michelle Fields, a “conservative,” fabricated a story with Ben Terris, a “liberal.” Jabin Botsford of the Washington Post lied about being at the event, and then hid evidence that would have exposed the hoax. Lloyd Grove of the...

WOW! What the hell, Michelle?Breitbart reporter caught fabricating story about Donald Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski. Michelle Fields made headlines when she said Lewandowski grabbed her and threw her down on the ground at the Jupiter, Florida victory speech on Tuesday night. The Gateway Pundit’s Kristinn Taylor was in the room at the time and did not see the incident in question. He was the last reporter to film Corey closing up the event with reporters. Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields filed criminal assault charges with Jupiter, Florida police against Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski on Friday several days after...

It happened after he had walked by, and it may well be that the people involved have not told him what really happened, that they're saying, "Nah, she's making it up! She's exaggerating. It didn't happen, or it did happen but it wasn't Corey Lewandowski that did it," or what have you. But, I mean, there's all kinds of witnesses and evidence here. People were running audiotape of it. There's some video, I think. She's got the bruises on her arms. Politico has run, I think, the audio and transcript of it. So it happened. And Trump last night said...

Who is Corey Lewandowski? Leon H. Wolf. March 12, 2016 . Thanks to the Michelle Fields incident, the world has now been exposed to Donald Trump's pint-sized campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. But many people still don't really know who Corey Lewandowski is or where he came from. There's a reason for that: Lewandowski has a long history of working for convicted political crooks and greasing the skids in Washington. Lewandowski first came to political prominence during the Jack Abramoff scandal, when he was an aide to Bob Ney, the Ohio congressman who got sent away for 30 years on corruption...

Kurt Bardella, a spokesman for Breitbart, has quit the company following an incident where one of its reporters accused GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s campaign manager of violently grabbing her. "When you reach a point where you can't give 100% to people you represent, it's not tenable to continue representing them,” Bardella said in a statement to The Hill. Bardella, a former spokesman for Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), also implied that Breitbart’s handling of the incident at the Trump event was his main reason for leaving. “My own personal observation is that there is a cycle of behavior that is...

Benny Johnson of Independent Journal reports that Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields has filed assault charges against Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. Washington Post reporter Ben Terris said Lewandowski roughly pulled her away from Trump while asking a question.

I can't help but feel this non story about Corey Lewandowski shoving a reporter to the side is a dirty trick attempt to get this as a campaign issue to get Trump to fire him. The reason why is obvious - they want to deny Trump his general. This reporterette has a history of being a fabricator. And the bruises look self inflicted to me. Just in a small area of the arm rather the entire diameter of the arm where an adult male hand would grip.

New video of Donald Trump’s press conference Tuesday evening shows that the Washington Post’s account of an altercation involving Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields could not possibly have happened as Ben Terris reported. In conducting our own due diligence, we have reviewed as much video footage and other evidence as possible, and present it in the interest of transparency. Contrary to what Donald Trump said Thursday evening after the GOP debate, the incident certainly happened. However, the person who made contact with Fields was likely not Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. As Trump campaign spokesperson Katrina Pierson said Thursday on...

Update: A Vine video has emerged, purporting to show a new angle of the incident. The footage appears inconclusive, but visible in the background is Ken Kurson, editor-in-chief of the New York Observer, who appears to have had a close-up view of the action. Breitbart News reached out to Kurson, who responded via e-mail: I was five feet away from the alleged incident and didn’t see anything. I was literally looking right at Corey when it supposedly happened. Someone sent me a Vine of it (I look bald as hell, goddammit — and what’s with that backpack?!?!!?) and if this...

Trump Cover-Up: The Manhandling of a Reporter Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski with reporters in Palm Beach, March 11, 2016. by JOHN FUND March 11, 2016. ‘I have to do what I have to do” was Donald Trump’s justification during last night’s debate for why he used what he called a corrupt visa program to hire foreign workers at his properties. After the debate, Trump proved his point when he accused a reporter of fabricating a story that she had been grabbed and bruised by his campaign manager while trying to ask Trump a question. That denial flies in the...

Until last year, the architect of Donald Trump's presidential campaign was an obscure political operative in New Hampshire. Now, campaign manager Corey Lewandowski can claim to have engineered victories in South Carolina and New Hampshire and a second-place finish in the Iowa caucuses, a winning streak that gives Trump a strong shot at the Republican nomination. On the night of his New Hampshire primary victory, Trump acknowledged Lewandowski's role in the win, asking, "Does Corey have a ground game or what?" That night, Lewandowski stood stage right to Trump, looking relaxed, a rare moment of rest for a man who's...

The Donald Trump campaign began courting top staffers with the Koch-backed group Americans for Prosperity late last year, in order to bolster its ground game ahead of big primary nights in March, according to BuzzFeed News. The billionaire businessman's campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, is a former AFP state director whose intricate knowledge of New Hampshire paid dividends in that primary. One top AFP staffer in a March primary state said he was approached by Lewandowski, who told him Trump "was for real. He's going all the way." "Anecdotally, I'd say a lot of people have been approached," another source close...

Corey Lewandowski, the campaign manager for 2016 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, exposed a blatant conflict of interest on Wednesday that the Fox News Channel has been hiding for months. Lewandowski showed how Fox News has been hiding the fact that Fox News Channel Vice President Bill Sammon has a daughter working for the campaign of the Washington establishment-backed Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL). Sammon's daughter, Brooke Sammon, is Rubio's national press secretary, and obviously both have a vested interest in the success of the Rubio campaign and the demise of the other campaigns. CNN's Erin Burnett asked Lewandowski about Fox News's...
