    Following the end of GOV Abbott's mandate, the local school district here in Comal County, TX (Comal ISD), has voted to make masks in the classroom optional. The School Board voted 5-2 for this measure. The blow-back against the board has impacted me personally -- I'll leave it at that. At any rate, the leftists started a petition at Change.org to reverse this decision. In response, a petition was started to show support for the board.
