The Wednesday CNN town hall promoting gun bans and moderated by Jake Tapper was arguably a train wreck from the beginning. Between a student saying Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) reminded him of the shooter and shouts of ‘murderer’ at NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch, it was out of control. But in the wee hours of Thursday morning, things got worse for the anti-gun network when the local Florida ABC affiliate WPLG-TV reported that CNN had been planting questions. The whistleblower was Colton Haab, a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School who heroically shielded his fellow students from the bullets with...

Colton Haab, a student who survived last week’s mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, refused to participate in a CNN Town Hall on Wednesday night after he was told to ask a “scripted” question. Haab, a junior at the high school, told Fort Lauderdale ABC affiliate WPLG that CNN invited him to speak at the televised town hall in nearby Sunrise, Florida, and that he and his parents had dressed up for the occasion. But CNN then told Haab he would have to read a question that CNN had prepared for him:

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Colton Haab said he was approached by CNN to ask a question at Wednesday night's town hall but decided not to after the network gave him a "scripted question," quashing one he wrote himself. Haab, a member of the Junior ROTC shielded students while the school was under attack from the shooter, said he was going to ask about using veterans as armed security guards. "CNN had originally asked me to write a speech and questions and it ended up being all scripted," Haab told WPLG-TV

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) It’s all fake news all the time at @CNN – But then, you already knew that, didn’t you? One of the kids who survived the school shootings in Parkland, Florida last week has revealed that his appearance at a CNN townhall with Senator Marco Rubio and others was actually scripted. He was invited to participate in a panel and told he would be able to ask his own questions, but once the fake journalists at CNN realized his question did not fit the anti-gun narrative the fake news channel is pushing, he...
  • Was CNN scripting questions for their Florida school shooting town hall?

CNN’s town hall last night on gun-related issues following the school shooting in Florida turned out to be a lively event. But there was one person who didn’t wind up taking part in it. That was Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Colton Haab. He had been invited to appear and be one of the students asking a question but canceled at the last moment. The reason? He claims that CNN wanted to give him a scripted question and not let him say what he wanted, primarily focusing on the possibility of putting armed adults in schools to protect students...
