  • CNN Doesn't Recognize Nazareth as "Holy City"

    07/19/2006 9:13:01 AM PDT · by auzerais · 57 replies · 1,870+ views
Anyone notice this morning that while both FoxNews and even MSNBC are refering to the attacks on Nazareth as on the "Holy City of Nazareth", CNN Does NOT?! Coincidence? I don't think so. For years every so-called islamic 'holy city' in Iraq and Iran have been referenced as such to soothe islamic sensibilities, but when it comes to a Christian Holy City, Nazareth the home of Jesus Christ, CNN, led by Christian-hater Ted Turner, omits such reference. Isn't it time CNN heard from Christians all over the world protesting their pro-islamic anti-Christian bias????
  • Crocodile tears of Death Cult: Al Qaeda's / "Palestinians" sympathizers & radical left on "suicide"

I can't believe the hypocrisy that is on display by ther radical left on a "successful" suicide by three terrorists in Gitmo bay. Instead of the entire west celebrating that the mass murderers killed themselves this time without any western innocent lives together with them, heck, thank you so much, Good bye! - A death (Suicide/homicide/genocide) cult by Al Qaeda or "Palestinians" that celebrate death more than life. - "Palestinian" death cult that sends it's kids as human bombs and as human shields or kids used as cannon fodders, this evil death cult cares about lost lives? - The Al...

After Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich had an embarrassing appearance on "The Daily Show," many had a good laugh. The Associated Press even reported on it: Blagojevich says he didn't realize "The Daily Show" was a comedy spoof of the news when he sat down for an interview that ended up poking fun at the sometimes-puzzled Democratic governor. CNN also picked up the wire story, but decided to change an interesting detail: Blagojevich says he didn't realize "The Daily Show" was a comedy spoof of the news when he sat down for an interview that ended up poking fun at the...

The following is an update from Daily Pundit who has chronicled the UNBELIEVABLE behavior of CNN employees in the wake of the X/Cheney incident. A switch board operator who berated callers to CNN telling them "Bush and Cheney should stop lying" and that "Putting the X over Cheney's face was freedom of speach" has been fired by CNN. This has been confirmed! Visit this link to hear the tape. I just got off the phone with Laurie Goldberg, Senior Vice President for Public Relations with CNN. Her statement confirms the authenticity of the tape recording and reveals the actions CNN...
  • CNN's Bogus Answer About The Video Switcher. You Can Do What Was Done To Cheney Deliberately

CNN'a story neglects to say that it could have been done manually, but that they had ruled that out somehow. I once was a control room operator for a live TV production and though it was over 30 years ago, I remember how I could manually reproduce what was done to Cheney. One way you switch between video sources to select the one to go out over the air to move the "wiper". It looks like a T-handled lever, like an automatic transmission lever on your car's console. Except, instead of being one handle, it's split down the middle into...

(CNN) -- Only one in 10 Americans said they believe Bush administration officials did nothing illegal or unethical in connection with the leaking of a CIA operative's identity, according to a national poll released Tuesday. Thirty-nine percent said some administration officials acted illegally in the matter, in which the identity of Valerie Plame, a CIA operative, was revealed. The same percentage of respondents in the CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll said Bush administration officials acted unethically, but did nothing illegal.

Time Warner Inc., the world's largest media company, reported an 8 percent decline in third-quarter earnings Wednesday and set aside a $500 million reserve in anticipation of settling government investigations into its bookkeeping. The company said it would restate earnings for 2000 and 2001 to correct its accounting for AOL Europe. The moves put the company a step closer to resolving the investigations, which have caused anxiety among investors after dragging on for more than two years. The Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Justice are still investigating accounting practices at America Online, including its advertising arrangements and...

In a not-so-surprising move on the part of CNN employees, they placed an image of President Bush and his wife Laura on their homepage, and named the photo image '!@#hole.jpg.' The photo has since been renamed and by 9:30AM, !@#hole.jpg was removed from their server. This story first posted by Paul at WizBangBlog.com.

Poll: Troops, families question Iraq strategyMost surveyed say Bush sent too few troops; relied too much on Guard WASHINGTON (AP) -- Members of the military and their families say the Bush administration underestimated the number of troops needed in Iraq and put too much pressure on inadequately trained National Guard and reserve forces, according to a poll released Saturday. The National Annenberg Election Survey questioned active duty troops in the regular military and the National Guard and Reserves, as well as family members of active duty members. Family members were more critical of the administration's Iraq policy than those on...

The online address belongs to Kerry Edwards, a bail bondsman from Indianapolis, Indiana. He joined CNN's Carol Lin to discuss the coincidence and the Web site. During a commencement address at the U.S. Air Force Academy, President Bush compared the War on Terror to World War II and cast the Middle East as a critical front akin to wartime Europe. Define the term "rhetoric," and discuss how words can be used as "weapons" and to sway political opinion. Then, examine the choice of words used by President Bush in his speeches pertaining to Iraq and the War on Terror. Inform students that Bush's address at the U.S. Air Force Academy was the second of six speeches before the June 30 handover of power in Iraq. Yesterday's...
