A new book says that first lady Melania Trump told her husband she thought Christine Blasey Ford was lying when she testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee against Justice Brett Kavanaugh. “You know that woman is lying, don’t you?” Melania Trump told President Trump, according to “Justice on Trial: The Kavanaugh Confirmation and the Future of the Supreme Court” by conservative authors Mollie Hemingway, a senior editor at The Federalist, and Carrie Severino, chief counsel and policy director of the Judicial Crisis Network. Hemingway and Severino, whose book comes out Tuesday, use the first lady as an example of an...

Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's testimony against then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh captivated the attention of the nation and the world last fall. Now, Time magazine's annual list of the world's 100 most influential people has brought them into the spotlight again — with both receiving a coveted spot in the edition. Sen. Kamala Harris, a Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee who took part in the confirmation hearings, wrote a moving tribute for the magazine about Blasey Ford. "Her courage, in the face of those who wished to silence her, galvanized Americans," wrote Harris, who is also a 2020 presidential...

The woman who has apparently accused Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax of sexually assaulting her 20 years ago has hired the same law firm that represented Christine Blasey Ford in her allegations against Brett Kavanaugh ahead of his Supreme Court nomination, NPR reports. (snip) The woman making the accusation has now retained Katz, Marshall, and Banks, and the Washington, D.C.-based firm is now advising her attorneys about what steps to take next.

Welp. BuzzFeed’s terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day just got worse as the New York Times is reporting that the prosecutors in the special counsel’s office are saying that Michale Cohen “never implied that the president had pressured him to lie to Congress”: “Toast”:

Sinister: We’re not big into conspiracy theories but sometimes the intrigue is too much and we find ourselves forced to examine the possibilities of situations that otherwise might seem too far-fetched to consider. Regarding the allegations of sexual abuse and sexual assault against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, POTUS Donald Trump’s second Supreme Court nominee, there have been some whispers online and even by Rush Limbaugh during his Wednesday program that their origin may have roots in the 2012 campaign of GOP nominee Mitt Romney. Hear us out. You may recall that Kavanaugh’s first accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, claims that she ‘suppressed’...

The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT) has released its list of Worst Ethics Violators of 2018, which includes 2020 presidential hopefuls Sens. Kamala Harris (D-CA) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). Both Harris and Warren used their opposition of Brett Kavanaugh’s appointment to the Supreme Court as an opportunity to fundraise, according to FACT. The two Democratic Senators sent out emails claiming that the donation played a vital role in battling his confirmation. Shortly thereafter, FACT filed an ethics complaint against both senators. Warren was caught off guard during a televised debate when her opponent mentioned that she was under...

Christine Blasey-Fraud is out there trying to remain relevant. But whatdaya know, she doesn't talk like a high school cheer leader any more.

When Professor Christine Blasey-Ford testified against the Supreme Court nomination of then-Judge Brett Kavanaugh, my very first impression was that her voice sounded fake. She sounded like a scared little girl, her voice tremulous, creating an impression of sadness and vulnerability – just the thing to create sympathy. I immediately wondered if this was some sort of act, or if her mental state was somehow altered for her performance on national television. As a former professor myself, I wondered how on Earth she could command a classroom with that scared little girl voice.

Christine Blasey Ford made her first public remarks since her September testimony at the Senate hearing of then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. During a Monday ceremony, Blasey Ford introduced Rachael Denhollander as the recipient of Sports Illustrated's Inspiration of the Year Award. Denhollander, a lawyer and former gymnast, was the first woman to publicly accuse former USA Gymnastics and Michigan State doctor Larry Nassar of sexual assault.

Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and her testimony against then-Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh in September dominated the news cycle, with her every word scrutinized by both sides of the political aisle and the media. Since the hearings, Ford has been mostly silent. Ford released a statement on a GoFundMe page collecting donations for her last week. The page was created on Sept. 18 with an initial goal of $150,000. It has raised nearly $650,000 on her behalf. "Words are not adequate to thank all of you who supported me since I came forward to tell the Senate that I...

RUSH: I want to start, interestingly enough, with the Kavanaugh hearings and I’m gonna tell you why. Then we’re gonna get to this clown on Saturday Night Live who made fun of and laughed at a Republican candidate, a military man who lost his eye in combat. They’re joking about it, laughing about it on Saturday Night Live on Saturday night with no apology forthcoming. And there won’t be. I doubt. The guy was not a rogue performer. Everything in that show is scripted. They do two live rehearsals on Saturday night before the air version. So everything that happens...

A Senate Judiciary Committee report released Saturday revealed that committee investigators interviewed a man who described a sexual encounter with Christine Blasey Ford that shared similarities to the one she claimed she had with Supreme Court Brett Kavanaugh. According to the report, a man — whose name is redacted — told committee investigators in an interview on September 26, 2018, that when he was a 19-year-old college student, he had visited D.C. over spring break and kissed a girl he believes was Christine Blasey Ford. According to the report: He said that the kiss happened in the bedroom of a...

Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee late Saturday released a 414-page report in which the panel members say they found no supporting evidence for any of the allegations of sexual misconduct made against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh ahead of his confirmation. “Committee investigators spoke with 45 individuals and took 25 written statements relating to the various allegations made in the course of the #SCOTUS confirmation process,” the Senate Judiciary Committee tweeted Saturday. “The revelation of last minute allegations tested the committee in many ways. But these investigative efforts rose to the occasion and were critical to helping us obtain...

This is not good news for Christine Blasey Ford. After raking in a million dollars in donations from a GoFundMe campaign, and as she shops offers for a book detailing allegations of an assault she can not remember, things just got worse for her. On Saturday Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley released the committee’s report on her allegations and what did it find? There is “no evidence to support the allegations.”

The Kavanaugh confirmation circus is over and the fighters have gone back to their corners, but not before drawing massive amounts of blood. The Kavanaughs were injured, but they now have Secret Service protection and secure employment for life. There's someone else, though, who was beaten and bloodied and left for dead on the side of the road. Mark Judge, the other man accused by Christine Blasey Ford, has lost his job and his home. He is raising money on a GoFundMe alternative site called Funding Morality and has received $48,549 to date. Judge is a cancer survivor and Catholic...

The following dialog took place on The View: JOY BEHAR: Hillary is in a quandary in my opinion, because she’s talking about violence against women and sexual harassment and all that stuff and her husband has a checkered past to put it mildly, so she is in a bind….. PAULA FARIS: There are accusations but there are three women that claim that he did things to them that they didn’t want. One of them is Paula Jones…. Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey. They say that he either exposed himself to them, raped them or groped them. These are three accusations…. BEHAR:...

Amal Clooney reportedly took aim at President Trump on Friday for his previous controversial remarks about Christine Blasey Ford, who accused now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault. The remarks from the human rights attorney came during her address to the Pennsylvania Conference for Women, Philadelphia Magazine reported. The conference announced in April that she would be headlining the event as a keynote speaker. “A president shouldn’t ridicule a woman who courageously comes forward to allege abuse,” Clooney told the crowd in Philadelphia, according to the outlet.

Former Alabama U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore called on Republicans to "take a stand" and support suggested U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh following the sexual misconduct allegations levied against him, adding that he believes the Democrats are using Kavanaugh's accuser as a political pawn. "I think they need to take a stand. I think they need to do what their conscience dictates. They know what's happening," Moore told One America News in an interview posted Wednesday. "It's so obvious that these tactics are used just days before a very important event ...but these come up right before an election...
