PLANT CITY | A Tampa Bay area mother confessed to drowning her baby in her apartment's bathtub, saying he has the devil, according to an affidavit released by police. Talae Thomas, 30, is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse in the death of her 5-week-old son, Chase Harrison. She is being held without bail at the Hillsborough County Jail.

Houston area police were involved in the cutest police chase ever this morning when a Smart Convertible led cops around the highways outside the city. Awwwwww! The Smart has a top speed of 90 MPH, so we aren't yet ready to call this a high speed chase. The driver was arrested without any issues after he pulled off the highway and into a driveway. There's no word on what he did wrong, other than drive a Smart Cabriolet in public. While not confirmed, we're hearing it was towed away from the scene by a local child with a big wheel.

A Chambersburg man is in jail after allegedly fleeing from police Monday at speeds up to 120 mph while driving a stolen car into Maryland, causing several crashes before finally hitting the back of a tractor-trailer. A Somerset man led area police departments on a 15-mile chase during the noon hour Monday down busy U.S. 31W, striking a police car along the way. The chase ended when 33-year-old Dale C. Brown was subdued with a Taser, police said. He is charged with wanton endangerment, driving under the influence and receiving stolen property. The pursuit started in Muldraugh and ended at the Ring Road-Dixie Avenue intersection in Elizabethtown. Brown was driving a Ford pickup truck bearing an Orkin logo. Bank's mistake leads to financial troubles for Florida womanA central Florida woman says she having numerous financial troubles because of a bank error. Chase Bank USA declared her dead last November. Wrenella Pierre has filed a lawsuit and Chase officials said Monday they're investigating how the mistake happened.
