A few days ago, I requested prayers through FReepmail for my friend's baby. Upon reading baby Ada's update today, I knew that I needed to go bigger, she needs all the prayers she can get. Ada was born April 26 and wasn't doing well. She was taken to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh where the diagnosis was that her heart did not develop with the rest of her body. Ada was supposed to undergo surgery today but the doctor thought it was too risky. They believe that she may need a heart transplant instead. Ada's mom was my assistant coach and...

I would like to request prayers for one of my dad's best employees and an all around great guy. Rick was helping a someone with their roof. When he got on the roof, he took two steps and fell backwards off of it. He crushed his heel, broke his leg and shattered a disc. My parents thought he would be ok, but received a call today from his mother. Rick is in critical condition because of the crushed disc. It sent bone chips into his spinal chord. This is very bad. My cousin, Scott and his wife, Marsha are expecting a baby girl. Two weeks ago at 24 weeks gestation, her amniotic fluid began to leak. After messing around at their local (and horrible) hospital, she went by ambulance to a big one in Pittsburgh. They found out that everything the previous hospital did was wrong. Now They are just waiting to see how long they can keep the baby in the womb and hoping everyday that it will be another day. The baby weighed 1 pound 6 oz on Monday. I have 2 prayer requests. First is for a man at our church. His name is David and he has cancer everywhere. My dad just participated in David's laying of the hands after the service yesterday. It has worked before. Our church did this before for David and annointed his body with oil before a cancer surgery and when the doctors opened him up, they thought there was a mistake because they couldn't find the cancer anywhere. A wonderful person and Cristian is greatly in need of a miracle. Donna has breast cancer that was misdiagnosed the first time and they lost precious time to battle it.
