Real-ID isn’t a good thing, especially in the hands of the DNC.

Anyone who fails to see what the Dems are going to do with it once they have control, is a fool.

Do Stalin’s purges ring a bell here?

Lets see who Republicans have left as Choices.

Hildebeast Mark II aka John McCain
Jimmy Carter (Reborn) aka Mike Huckabee (I say this as a Southern Baptist)
American Baby Killer aka Rudy Giuliani
    Cult Prophet aka Mitt Romney

There isn’t a Republican still running worth getting off the couch for.

And lets face it, none of the afore mentioned rhino’s have a snow ball’s chance in hell of beating Obama or Hildebeast.

So, Comrades, it is time to break out the Gold Hammers and Sickles, Red Stars, and Copies of Das Kapital.

    This just sucks.....

“Romney is clearly the optimal choice at this point.”

    Ditto....

I don’t personally care for Romney all that much, but the Pope will get married, and invite Muslims and Jews to Celebrate his wedding with a Pork Chop Feast before I vote for McCain, Huckabee, or Guiliani...

You make money on open source products by SELLING THEM, just like closed source.

And Just like Closed Source Software the real money is in Support Contracts not software licenses.

Companies make Money on OpenSource software all the time.
Apple is at the top tier for consumer open source sales.
Then IBM and Redhat make a boat load of $$$$ in the Business world on OpenSource Software.

You should also note, that even Oracle lets you download and use their database for FREE, you just pay out the $$$$ for support.

    Yes, I have considered that.
But if your right on that, then when both parents are told, you should be able to see some concern on one or the others face.

If mom or dad is using the pc in the 10 year old girls bedroom to look at porn, the problem is worse than even I am suggesting don’t you think?

I am sure you are correct in some cases. But I know, when the kid has the pc password protected on their own login, that the Porn on their login is their own. Especially when the parents have to ask the kid for the password, so I can do my job.

If you don’t believe porn is targeting kids of 10 to 13 years old actively these days, well I am sorry to say you have your head in the sand.

By all means, verify the numbers, if that is what it takes to convince you.

I have been a computer repair tech for almost 10 years now, and I can’t remember how many times, I have caught 10 to 12 year old girls with hard core porn on their pc’s. If they are into to porn, They are readily at risk of sex slavery.
(Yes I tell parents about it, and its disturbing how many don’t care.)

My gut says the 100,000 number is actually most likely low.

It isn’t vanity. God created all humans with intrinsic value, you, me, even the criminally insane.

Which is why I don’t go around willy nilly shootin every liberal chowder head, I think needs it.

I used FireFox with Adblock plus.

I never block GOOGLE’s Text advertisements.
I unblock sites that advertise the google way.
I block ads on sites that use flash, java, or animated gifs to advertise.

Frankly I don’t want to hear any audio effects or have flashing/blinking crap in my face when I want to view content.

Either use Text ads, or JPG/PNG image ads, or don’t expect me to view them.

Using all the animated Ads is the reason Adware/Spyware and such are so prevalent. I wouldn’t be surprised if it comes out that the STorm Worm is spreading through such ads. It wouldn’t be the first.

I am willing to see ads, but if your not going to format them is such a way as to minimize risk to my computer you can forget getting advert money from me.

The classical political science definitions of Liberal and Conservative swapped terms in the 1960s.

EG a Conservative in 1800 is a Liberal by todays definition of the word

and a Liberal in 1800 is a Conservative according to todays definition of said word.

The Reason for the swap, part of the DNC plan to blame Republicans for what Democrats really are.

I majored in Political Science in Collage. One thing I remember when I read the Classical Definition of a Conservative, well it defined Stalin to a tee.

Basically you have to keep one thing in mind when reading liberal/conservative, that is when was it written. If it is pre-1960, they were still using the original definitions, these days the terms have swapped definitions so read accordingly.

Not necessarily. The Article say he is a reservist now.
After you do your initial enlistment, you move to active reserve, and then inactive reserve over the course of the next 8 years or so. Once you enlist your not completely finished until you complete all your reserve duties.

1st: Microsoft never does anything to help anyone but themselves.

2nd: Linux isn’t developed primarily by companies, but by individuals that choose to do so.

3rd: If companies prefer the BSD License, there are at least 5 versions of BSD you can download for free and do what you want with now. They are more than welcome to Sell BSD if that is what they want to do.

4th: The reason Stallman owns so much code is that the developers of said code Chose of their own freewill to do so.

5th: Any copyright holder is free to license their work under any terms they wish, whether they charge for them or not, is their business and no one else’s.

Last: These days most Linux fans are such because
    1) It can be obtained for FREE, whereas Winblows cost over $250 and is full of bugs and back doors for the Chi-Coms and Feds.

2)They see the kind of Control Bill Gates wants over your PC, and don’t like it. Bill Gates and Co. want to tell you what your allowed to do with your PC and when, and what information your allowed to access and when. This is in large part what DRM is all about.

    CommieWare?

I don’t agree with the political views of most of the Developers that release software via the GPL license. However I support their right to license and do with their software whatever they want.

I don’t think we as a society have the right to force someone to sell something that they want to give away for free.

Secondly, This “CommieWare” as you call it is the only competition Microsoft faces. I don’t think this “CommieWare” is as commie as you think it is, as both IBM and Apple have figured out how to turn big $$$CAPITALIST$$$ profits on it, without breaking the license.

If your against the “CommieWare” you voicing your support for an Microsoft Monopoly Control of 90% of Infomation flow in the US. I remind you Bill Gates and Co. are no friends of conservatives.

You probably believe “Network Neutrality” needs to go the way of the Do Do as well.

Say good bye to FreeRepublic if either happens.

Except that Bush doesn’t have the stones to pull this off.
