Chavez is supporting all sorts of subversive activities throughout Central America - including support of Cuba. He's doing so with money from us while attacking our President and threatening to cut off oil from HIS country. I say we eliminate the imports, which would likely destabilize his government. Something wrong with that?

While we're at it, let's ban the import of petroleum from Venezuela while Chavez is at the helm and/or their government maintains an anti-U.S. stance.

Per our Senators, no response yet. However, I know both these Senators and fully expect they will do what's possible to make Citgo fuels more difficult to market here - under the table - as I believe is presently the case.

Time to cut off his oil revenues from sales in the U.S. Let him find other markets, have to ship his crude LONG distances. I'm discussing this whole issue with one of my Senators now.

10-4. My guess is the principal wanted to deal with the situation internally and through the parents. The school's attorney was likely consulted and insisted the incident be reported to police.

Youngster's lives are sometimes derailed by silly, thoughtless incidents. Hope this doesn't happen to these boys.

So, there would be no story here other than rules put in place following 9-11 and the youngsters attending an exclusive, private school. Let's bash rich kids and their parents, seems to me in this case.

Years ago my children attended this school. Teachers and staff were excellent. Kids do stuff. Doesn't warrant anything other than a good talking to by parents and school staff IMO. Much ado about prejudice, looks like.

I think this guy should be sent to the very front units in Iraq, there to function as a "special observer." Hand the man an M-16 and tell him he's responsible for his own wellbeing. Buh-bye!

Your commentary is well done. You are speaking for many who served in Vietnam and never were able to express their frustration over the misrepresentation of what happened in the TET offensive and many other military actions won, not lost.

Wow! That's hard to believe. Time takes care of this type situation. Visit a retirement community and look around for overweight residents. They don't make it that long.

Having been in Vietnam before, during and after Tet I can tell you many Americans serving there were intensely angry with those media and journalists who spun a big win by our side into a loss. The Vietcong were totally destroyed, for openers.

IMO CNN should be banned from Iraq. They and their kind are costing American lives.

Well, in addition to selecting commercial flights using Boeing aircraft, now I'll be looking for aircraft equipped with "missile defenses." And when will these be installed on airlines planes for the "common folk?"

Well, now we'll se what actual impact such sanctions have on NK. Will Russia and China actually participate? I'll be surprised if they do.

Our thoughts and prayers go out in support of Colonel Cooper and his family. I had the great fortune to get to know Col. Cooper while attending Gunsite. How special it was to listen to his stories and take instruction from him. He and his staff have no equal.
