Wealthy white Baton Rouge residents have won a decade-long court battle to split from poorer neighborhoods and form their own city with plans for better schools and less crime. The Louisiana Supreme Court ruled on Friday that the new City of St George could move forward with incorporation, splitting off from the rest of Baton Rouge. St George will have 86,000 residents across a 60-square-mile area in the southeast of East Baton Rouge Parish and will have its own Mayor and city council.

Asking for prayers for my best friend and sweet sister Diane. She was diagnosed in April 2022 with stage 4 colon cancer with spread to liver. Surgery took out the colon mass but she had 2 small liver tumors with numerous lesions. She now has activity in her lungs. She’s doctoring with MD Anderson at Scripps. Doing a driving trip to visit our son and DIL in Fayetteville NC. He’s stationed at Bragg. This is the third time we’ve done the drive from AZ. Try to do different stops along the way. We ate lunch on the beach outside of Mobile last year and we’d like to stay a couple of nights at Orange Beach. I’d like to stay on the beach so looking for hotel and food suggestions. I’ve been thinking of all the comments Nancy Pelosi has said going back in the months before the election. When all the votes were counted Biden would win. Trump would have to be removed from office. She knew Trump wouldn’t go quietly with the in your face fraud. Donald was suppose to declassify things and maybe issue pardons. Wondering if the uniparty going to use today’s events to stop Trump from declassifying and pardoning? Gina Haspel should’ve been booted months ago along with that do nothing Barr. I’m angry.

My FR post. Have read FR for years and contribute financially. Finally decided to register as I need advice. Trump will be in Tucson tomorrow. Have never been to a rally and plan to go. I registered for tickets but haven’t received anything. Do they send tickets via text or email? Or do we just show up as early as we can? Any helpful hints on what to bring or not bring?
