You're right about that! Thanks for the laughs, keep'em coming!

By the way, it must feel great that you're now the Lone person in CT that can gloat. My personal favorite is "Neener Neener Neeeee. . .neeeerrr!"

I think they are referring to the fact that Gore won the popular vote nationally, which by the way, was not by a huge margin. If I remember correctly it was around 1/2 million votes.

That's much less than what Bush has right now nationally--- WOOOOOO HOOOOOO! MANDATE!!!

I just shot diet coke through my nose. Too funny! I'm sorry, but I might have to use that one sometime.

I am able to lurk all I want as of right now. There are some pretty weird things being said over there. I guess I don't speak liberalese, I can't understand half of what they are trying to say sometimes.

Right now they are trying to prove their "theory" that fraud was perpetrated in states that use electronic voting. Supposedly, one of them says his "proof" is that exit polling does not jive with the actual polling results in states that use electronic voting machines. There's only one problem: Ohio is 70% butterfly ballots, not EV machines. They are reaching.

Here's a couple of posts that I thought were strange:

    118. Talk Logistics NOW!

How will people connect for carpools? How can folks get gas masks and other ESSENTIAL gear fast? The fascists are unlikely to go down without resorting to violence.

Crippling opponents backers, like all Wal-Mart Corporation stores, may be absolutely necessary. They won't give a shit about ghetto riots, but putting the hurt on corporate targets in the suburbs will eviscerate their support in a hurry. There can be no business as usual if the election is stolen again!

Also Kerry needs no money. Give the campaign your body. Give your money to the groups working to establish a constitutional right to vote so this can't happen again in 2008.

    Here's another:

missouri dem (xxx posts) Wed Nov-03-04 02:31 AM Response to Original message 87. I let my six year old daughter take the day off from school today to go with me to the Democratic headquarters today so that see could see how Democracy works. I told her this morning that the republicans might try to steal this election and if they did I would have to go somewhere to fight them. She asked how long I would be gone and I told her as long as it takes. She wants to go with me. I told her that I would love for her to go but that this was a fight for adults only. See you all in Ohio or Washington D.C.

We voted the first week of early voting and it took us under 10 minutes. A week later, it took up to 2 hours. My friend voted on Sunday, arrived an hour prior to opening and it took her 4 hours! When she left, there was only an hour to go and the line wrapped around the building.

Since I early voted, my kids and I are going to hold signs at the polls today. Unfortunately, I have to wait until after 2-ish-- I don't want to leave a bad impression that my kids are campaigning for Bush instead of in school. (We're homeschoolers) It wouldn't surprise me if some W-hater tried to turn me in on truancy charges.

I'll report back on impressions, crowds, etc. when I get back.

I will say that it has been quite peaceful despite the fact that I live in the most democratic county in Florida. My sign hasn't disappeared from my yard. The good news is, when I put mine up, I had 3 neighbors come over and ask for one, so now we have 4 up on our little street!

Yes, I do believe it was an exercise in futility, as well, but hey, it was fun to watch.

Tomorrow, my children, some friends, and I will be doing some sign waving to annoy them further.

We might be outnumbered down here, but we're feisty.

Here's a good one for you: I live in an uber-liberal county in FL. I was in a Sam's club parking lot when my 6 year old son asked me what does "How many lives for oil?" mean? I looked over and it was on a Suburban.

I couldn't believe the stupidity of the person driving the car. I left a little note on his windshield pointing out his complete lack of logic skills. Then I parked a few rows over and waited (I couldn't help myself) . . .

Luckily, he showed up with his son and his flatbed cart full of junk food a few minutes later. He was slovenly looking, very overweight, unshaven and wearing a baseball cap. I almost shouted out, "Michael Moore, is that you?" That's how much he looked like him. I was so irritated that I was actually organized the day before and took my camera out of my car after my son's ball game. I would have loved to have taken that picture. I wasn't brave enough to say anything to him, because I had my three kids with me.

He saw my note, plucked it from the windshield, and then crumpled it and threw it on the ground. He seemed very annoyed that he didn't see the note until after he had heaved himself into his truck.

I enjoyed it, in a petty sort of way. It was a weak moment. My kids thought it was "classic."

This is a fair, reasonable comment. Thank you.

Please be careful, folks, when you post "information" about how government agencies supposedly operate (some people believe everything they read), or dismiss these real people as "bullet catchers." These folks have families that love and care for them like everyone else. As they say, "Until you've walked a mile in someone's shoes..." I really enjoy and respect all of you Freepers and I know that nothing is meant in a hurtful way, but sometimes it happens anyway.

I'm not trying to start an argument, and I do not want to pick on any one person, I've seen it on other threads, I guess this was the one that prompted me to respond.

Forgive me if I have offended anyone.

Pray for our President and those that protect him (they appreciate it).

    Respectfully,
