  • Sex Trafficking Investigation Focuses on van der Sloot (Warning: Very Disturbing Article)

The reason it was hush, hush after WW2 was that the USA wanted the findings of these scientific experiments — so deals were made that if the scientists gave the US their journals, they would be given full immunity. The ones who were caught by Russian forces did not fare as well though (the Russians did not take kindly to their POWs and women inhabitants of Harbin, China being experimented on). There is no solid evidence but is highly likely that US POWs were also experimented on — of course, once you went in you never came out.
Google “Unit 731” and you will find some really interesting historical ducumentaries on the subject. If you can stand it, watch Philosophy of a Knife — sad part is, anything they depict in that movie seems to actually be based on the real place. Tens of thousands of people met their end there and if it had not been for the atomic bomb, the biological agents they developed were scheduled to be dropped on coastal cities of the USA in early autumn of 1945. Millions would have died in the US had this occured.

What bugs me is that these people assume that everyone from the Yukon to the tip of Argentina were one big happy family until Colombus landed. They were not — there were racial, tribal and linguistic differences. I doubt the Mayans would have seen primitive nomadic peoples of the Great Plains as their brothers. Yet these Mexicans see the US as theirs? Okay, maybe Cherokee or Lakota could make a case, but not these people from central America. And while I am white (phenotype) my genotype probably has as much Cherokee DNA as these Mexicans have of Incan DNA.

I totally agree with you. I am a WW2 history buff and I have studied the subject of Japanese human experiment facility Unit 731 in depth. I found out a movie had been made about the facility (Philosophy of a Knife) and watched it. While it featured actors and actresses being subjected to the barbaric experiments of these psychopathic scientists, it was still very disturbing. I do not know why someone would want to see the real thing.

It would be oh so tragic if Van Der Sloot met his end in the same fashion as Jeffrey Dahmer did in prison. I realize he is a big guy, but I am not too sure how a white guy will fare in one of Peru’s most violent prisons, especially since he murdered a Puruvian woman.

The sex trade has been going on for years — in the 19th century Portland, Oregon was a big hub for it (victims shuttled through the maze of tunnels underneath the main city). It still goes on — usually Asian or East European women are victims. Sometimes women from the west are tricked and wind up in some isolated villa in the Middle East (they are lucky if all the guy wants is some variety of looks in his harem). If Holloway is alive one would hope an Arab bought her for a wife rather than her being used in some torture chamber somewhere in the world. No matter what, nobody will ever hear from her again.

Smart move, on his part. Maybe he assumes the Muslims in Kenya won’t be getting abortions — just the Christians and those with more tribal-based beliefs. Then if you have Islamic tribunals you can set teh stage for the eventual takeover.

Nobody is downplaying the sacrifices of our soldiers in Iraq. However, there is an irony that if we try to install “democratic” governments in the Middle East we may actually wind up with creating systems that will be far more anti-Jewish, anti-Christian and anti-infidel (The West). Perhaps in a few generations, when the middle class has expanded and there is more connection to the world, nations like Syria and Libya will evolve into something like Turkey. I hope that Iraq will develop a Turkish model as well. The problem is, if the majority of people in a country see life from the eyes of a fundamentalist Muslim then don’t expect something looking like Jeffersonian democracy to develop. I thought Saddam was brutal, but he was trying to make Iraq into a secular state, which might have served our interests better had we tried to co-opt him rather than use him to punish Iran in the 1980s.
Oh, and if the new government of Iraq is so wonderful, why are Christian Iraqi people trying their best to leave?

Absolutely. Under Saddam the Christian minority was protected and even allowed to participate in government. Then we installed the current regime.
Syria today protects its Christian minority and even allows them to participate in government. When will the US try to change that?

Change we can all believe in. But note: If the Republicans take the House and (maybe) the Senate they had better take on the agressive tone of a hungry pit bull! The danger is, if they are all nice and “bipartisan” then Obama will deflect all the voter anger onto them and win re-election.

Total hypocrits. Yet the media still falls for the spin doctor manipulation. What manipulation? Oh come now, with his poll numbers falling, Democrats treating him like the perverted uncle at the family reunion, and the economy looking like a repeat of the early 1930s, the spin doctors probably are telling him to do more family ops and fill the newspapers with “feel good” stories of a daughter going to camp, etc. This vacation is calculated to increase his poll numbers, nothing more. Still, his advisors should have had the family go to the Gulf. Big mistake not doing so.

well, the good news is that they only had a few thousand show up in Warsaw while London wound up with one million:

You know, the scriptures make it clear that when a society is not living the way it should God will find a way to wake them up. I would encourage people to read Romans 1. And what does Western society worship more than anything else? Wealth. I wonder if perhaps younger people on these forums might consider talking with still-living grandparents about The Great Depression and get their advice for surviving when the US and Western Europe fall.

Is it true that when a temporary agency signs on a worker (and he or she fills out a tax form) that the “employment” is listed as a real job? I know a guy who is out of work and he signed onto three different temp agencies. He never once, in two months, has been able to obtain even a day of work with any of the agencies. He said that when he went in to sign up there were lots of people also signing up.

If temp agency sign ups are counted then there are thousands of “jobs” being counted out there that do not exist.

There are plenty of people who get lung cancer who never touched a cigarette. The fact is though that cigarette smoking greatly increases the risk of lung cancer. Yes, there are plenty of women out there who never touched a birth control pill, had a large family and never had an abortion who get breast cancer. Yet the chances of having breast cancer goes down with each child you have. It is not 100% that having kids will absolutely prevent breast cancer, but not having kids increases a woman’s risk.

Women who are in high paying careers have a high rate of breast cancer — they have a low rate of having kids.

Women who are lesbians and nuns have the highest rates of breast cancer — again, low fertility.

The career women generally are using artificial birth control while the lesbians and nuns are not using any form of birth control.

So the variable that seems to connect them all? Low fertility.

This is the message we send out to our kids:

    http://www.oregon.gov/DHS/ph/fp/images/billboard.jpg

Another billboard (not sure if by the same people) up on West 11th. Street in Eugene where there are two young women. One has a poster that says that getting pregnant will make her gain weight. The other girl has a poster that says that getting pregnant will limit her choices. The slogan on the inserts the word “contra” onto “conception.” While I suspect the sign is aimed at teenagers, it sends out a message loud and clear to women of all ages and I am sure the people behind it know that.

This should be taught to young people in health classes. i bet very few women know this -- and I do not see feminists trying to get the word out. Why? Don't worry, everyone should know the answer to that.

Few people realize that Sunni-funded extremists (more than likely Saudi in origin) hate the Iranian Shia people as much as they hate the West.

One must question why Saudi Arabia seems hopeful that Iran will get bombed. You see, comparrred to Saudi Wahabbi extremism the Iranian government looks like Holland.
