Once a private replaced a couple of hydraulic lines in the cabinet. As the senior avioncs mech I was called in to program the SAS boxes because the aircraft was acting weird. I could not find out what was wrong. It turned out a couple of hydraulic lines were hooked up wrong. It took about a week to find out.
Its been twenty years but I did have to work on part of the control systems. Everything, pedals, cyclic and collective was hooked to electric sensors that connected to two SAS boxes, Stability Augmentation Systems, one was for normal use and one was backup. These electronic boxes controlled hydraulic servos that controled the rotors, ect. Yes I do believe both rotors were controlled. that was how you could turn. Obviously with a one rotor chopper the tail rotor lets you turn. As I said its been 20 years and I have not worked on any aircraft after leaving the army in 84.
I was an avionics mech in the 295th aviation co, Mannheim Ger 1980 and 1981. I always felt the ride was a little rougher than the Hueys I worked on at Ft Campbell. More of a heavy truck compared to a car.
To change the subject slightly. Liberals say that Bush is responsible for the economy starting from the day he was inaugurated. I believe you can tell how good a president was by how good the economy was after he left. By this grading Reagan was the best domestic pres ever. Athough bush 41 did put a dent in the economy with his tax increases the economy Clinton left has to be one of the worst

Why would the CEO's what the people that buy the products they make not to have the money to buy them? Maybe they want people in third world countrys to be able to afford to buy? Is the answer to EU the united north america or maybe united americas.
I have been reading Heinlein for over 35 years. Over and over.
Double Star, Glory Road, Starship Troopers and all L. Long stories I feel are the best. Reading Expanded Universe is what
started me on the road to leaving libdems.
