A 28-year-old Elizabeth­town woman was awakened Tuesday morning in her Warfield Street home when police say three teenagers broke in with the intention of stealing money. The teens — all boys between the ages of 14 and 16 — are lodged in Lincoln Village Regional Juvenile Detention Center and charged with robbery, authorities said. The woman was shot in the head by a paintball gun, according to Elizabethtown police. A military appeals court placed the trial for accused Fort Hood shooter Maj. Nidal Hasan on hold indefinitely Friday amid continuing issues surrounding Hasan’s refusal to shave his beard, CNN reported.
