  • Pelosi Says Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants a “Human Rights” Issue

I guess it is a Human Right to be in the United States... So if this is such a Human Right, why do we have borders, or citizens for that matter? Why don't we just start running the ferry's into the united states. At least it will bring jobs to Americans for once...

Oops, my bad, i forgot we can't do anything logical. Otherwise we would secure the border, legalize Marijuana to starve drug cartels, and deport people that have crossed our border ILLEGALLY without bias.

I understand the going after the person that is offending, but put the entire cost of finding him on the line rather then charging everyone. A simple threat that if they are forced to use DNA testing, they will charge the one responsible for the full price, plus a $500 fine for not picking up after your pooch.

Yup, however, the policy should be that if your parents are here illegally, you go with them. Only humane thing to do, because we cannot allow this Anchor baby stuff to slide.

Those are fighting words. The day they try to hit them with Sedition charges is the day this country’s divide rips wide open. I know a lot of people would view that as the end of freedom of speech, and a ban of any criticism of the government. I don’t think people will stand for that and is a very dangerous accusation.

How about another proposal, rather then banning guns on the bases, how about requiring all soldiers to carry their weapons on them at all times while on base. Far easier to put down a radical when you have a weapon to defend yourself with.

Policy’s only work with risky procedures, not against people that already break the law, otherwise the massacre would have never happened.Besides I’m pretty sure there is a policy against shooting your fellow soldiers anyway. If you aren’t going to follow one, you aren’t going to follow the other. Just wait for the bloodshed this will allow...

I’ve done computer repairs, and usually we have to copy and paste files so that if something was to happen during the repair, we wouldn’t lose your personal files. If we were to stumble apon child pornography, morally we cannot turn away. Anything else, you would really have to investigate to figure out, and would be an ethics violation in my mind because you are going further then you normally would. Personally if you don’t want your files to be discovered, all computers can have their hard drives removed easily, and just swap a new one in. Reload the operating system only takes 1-2 hours. There is no way to trace back information on a computer if you swap the hard drives, considering all the information is stored there, and all other forms of memory in a computer are temporary, or system bios.

Agreed. I’m completely against other people going through your files and personal belongings, but if you left something in public, and an innocent individual was to look through the stuff/thumb drive for some type of identification, and stumbled across evidence of illegal activity, it warrants further search and seizure, and is evidence in the open.

That’s the thing with movements. It is a collection of people, and anyone can join, including the ones that want to sabotage it. I’m a college student, and represent myself as a level headed conservative. I’m not afraid to debate my beliefs, because i believe the truth, and the better ideas will win out in the end. It is a shame that the other side must devolve to such petty tactics to try to beat us in the battle for public opinion, rather then in the arena of public debate.

Ok, so basically if you go to school, yet you vote back in your home state, you are required to be counted where you go to school? However the state you go to school are awarded with state funding AND your representation? Is that basically what this is saying? I'm a Conservative college student going to a RI school. I vote back in Massachusetts, and helped get Scott Brown elected as we needed to stop the health care bill. It only delayed them, but i digress.

What do you think about them taking my representation to another state where I'm not represented, in the name of state funding, and artificially bolstering the power of their vote. I personally made sure i was home as often as possible this year so i can be listed on my home census, and was back home on the 1st of April, because i saw the question beforehand, and refuse to be counted in RI. Any opinion on the matter, and is this legal/constitutional?
