My county's registrar of voters will not tell a voter whether his vote was counted until after the election results have been made official in December by the electors. One can check online whether the ballot was received, but not whether it was counted. Is that the practice and policy elsewhere, too? Why shouldn't there be transparency right after all voting is concluded about whether one's vote has been counted? Question: Is the withholding until it's too late
