I will continue to pray for Austin and his family. May God hold him in his loving arms and bring his family peace and comfort. No words to describe the sadness for the family.
Snugs, I cannot thank you enough for all your postings, today in particular. I’m cherishing all the photos and will visit this particular area often. What an extraordinary couple the Bushes are. May God Bless Them Always.
UPDATE ON TARA 9:15 P.M. SATURDAY. My family and I are overwhelmed with the outpouring of prayers and support; we are deeply grateful. I whispered in Tara’s ear that people around the world are praying for her and, with God’s blessing, she knows. Her brain is badly swollen and her physician has little hope. My niece, Lynn, Tara’s mother, has not left the hospital. She is asking the doctor to keep Tara alive, she will care for her. God watch over Tara and our family.
Hubby and I voted two weeks ago, absentee. Daughter, son-in-law, Mom, sisters - all voted already in RI this morning - no lines, no problems, more machines — ALL VOTED FOR MAC. More MAC votes coming from second daughter - but her husband - Obama guy - will try to tie him down (literally) so he can’t get to the polls.
My husband and I cast our McCain/Palin votes today by mail to FL!! Our McCain/Palin signs are taped to the inside of the windows so they don’t disappear. We are here in Blue RI until after the election. It’s amazing to us that we know of only three people who say they’ll vote for BO - and we’ve talked to a lot of people in RI about this election. That is not typical at all. Hope and Pray.
"A thank you to the Jordanians for the heads up. There are nations in the Middle East that want this crap to end. When I hear news like this, I have to remain hopeful that it will one day be possible."
He wasn't fat then, remember. I think they both had been drinking. He undoubtedly just saved himself and, worrying about the alcohol level and bad press, waited 10 hours to get his story straight. Sad for her, though, and her family.
I sent this along to all my military friends as I feel we cannot thank them often enough for their sacrifice. Thank you for posting it and for giving many of us the opportunity to say Thank God for our military.
