Kasich has remarkably low approval ratings in Ohio, and is not very popular even with Republicans - or independents. He “may” be a fiscal conservative but is in the John McCain mold in many of his positions. He would not help Romney win Ohio and would likely hurt him. He has a “bull in a China shop” approach to public policy often sticking his foot in his mouth. His signature piece of legislation regarding public employee pension reform was repealed in a referendum 63% to 39%!!! While I did not vote for the repeal, the repeal gives you an idea about his appeal.

I think the panel held back because Clinton did the damage all by himself. No one can accuse them of piling on so no fall back for Clinton and his allies. Believe me, his screed will be used by plenty of conservatives over the next several months.

Ted Williams would consider "both of you" cowards? What kind of crap is that? I served in the military for 10 years, including SE Asia during the war. That doesn't mean I don't understand what principle is! Ali would never have served one minute in combat and he still forfeited his career. By the way, the NY Boxing Commission is the entity that took his license and the Sup Ct held that what they did was unconstitutional - and it was no leftie court in the 60s and early 70s. Grow up!

You are correct. Ali was the greatest heavyweight of all time. Even though he could have served his time in the military as a boxer, he chose not to and paid the price. He was the highest paid athlete in the world as the time. You may not like him - and I do not agree with his politics- but he stuck to his convictions. That's more than I can say for some of the Rs in COngress right now. Don't confuse Ali with the terrorists - that is a huge mistake!
