Thanks to AMD(AMD), who two years ago transferred some core X86 processor technology to China(one would guess in exchange for business opportunities). Today, a Beijing University subsidiary company claims that it has completely mastered the X86 technology and is now capable of manufacturing X86 processors. The report also said that during the past two years, AMD has from time to time sent several senior engineers and project managers over to assist China in the "learning" process, which has finally born fruit as of today.
