NO you don't get a break...I have admitt that I beleive that Pedro threw at Garcia. HIT BY PITCH means you walk to first base. IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU GET TO TAKE OUT THE SECOND BASEMAN HARD ON A FORCE OUT LONG AFTER HE RELEASED THE BALL... that was really classy. Posoda and Zimmer yelling at Pedro for a hit by pitch was really classy. Zimmer running across the field to attempt to do what? hurt an oposing player? was really classy. Nelson and Gracia ( who I might add jumped the bullpen wall to get to the fight) kicking a grounds crew member was really classy.....who are you calling assholes? oh yeah I forgot youre classy Yankee fan aren't ...load with class. This conversation is over..... I don't talk to idiots no matter how much class they CLAIM to have

Item 1 Pedro Claims (and I am not sure I believe him) he did not throw at Karim Garcia intentionally

Item 2 Garcia takes a cheep shot at Todd Walker long after Walker has released the ball on the DP

Item 3 Posoda yells and point at his head Pedro repsonds back

Item 4 Garcia and Nelson kick a grounds crew member in the bullpen in the 8th inning. The guy has clete makes on his body

YOU call the Red Sox classless....you have proven my point
Yankee fans hold their clinch fist in the air when their guy does something agressive....but let the shoe be on the other foot....AND YOU CRY AND WHINE.
One last thing Don Zimmer is 72 years old and should have know better. Lets not forget he crossed over to the Red Sox side of the field to get to Pedro. Was that was classy move by a New York Yankee. 26 World Championships classy. The Greatness of the New York Yankees is tanted by Zimmer, Karim Garcia and Nelson. Yet we are talking about Pedro.

What Bill Clinton did in the past also had nothing to do with Arnold. Its funny to me that liberals can bring up what a Republican does AFTER they brushed what their own did.
I am not calling you a liberal, However What Clemmons did in the past was excused by your last post. Do you think Manny might have been thinking about Roger Throwing at Piazza?

If you want to know why Red Sox fans hate the Yankees, think about this.
Joe Torre says " it was one pitch one player that cause the problem." Don Zimmer says "He's embarrassed." Where were Zimmer and Torre when Roger threw at Mike Piazza in the 2000 World Series. That was okay because he's a Yankee. Roger Clemens has hit many a batter in his time and would think nothing of throwing high and very tight for any reason.

As a Red Sox fan its not easy to say this, however I think the Yankees are a great franchise and deserve credit for the what they have done for MLB. That doesn't change the fact that the Yankees always seem to come out smelling like a rose no matter what they do. Don't get me wrong Pedro should not have incited the Yankees and given them something to fight for.

A subject near and dear to my heart. Personally I don't care about the Record Companies, The Artist or the Songwriter. And Yes I agree its against the law, However it is the greedy music business that has created the law. They will milk every dollar they can from music that was recorded years before CD's and the internet were in place. They had no problem broadcasting their music on the free public airways when they thought it would sell more records. Now after giving away music on the free public airways along comes the internet. heven forbid they lose their chances to make money on something that was once given away for free.

Bill O'Reilly talked a little about this subject last night. Today's celebrities should spend money on PR people and listen to them when they are told by their PR people to shut up. Martin Sheen thinks he is the President of the United States, Actors who play doctors on TV or in Movies talk about healthcare issues like they have real life practical experience. Being an Entertainer is a job. A higher profile job than a Plumber or cement truck driver but still a job

I really don't understand the thinking here. The US Army's 43 Ninja Battalion is an elite fighting force that is commanded by Col. Wilma Deering and Capt. Buck Rogers. They have been trained by Master Yoda himself in the use of the force. their Combat support group is the 73 th mess kit repair battalion which has served the underground balloon corps with honor in the past.....Its beginning to look to me as the Pentagon had in for poor Bill Clinton

Put in terms Joe Sixpack can understand, this is like the difference between the Rams winning by one point or by 50 points...If they win by 50, they just get the one win they were playing for, not an automatic trip to the Super Bowl.

Not to take away anything from your analogy and with all due respect I must point out the Rams didn't win the Super Bowl. As a long suffering Patriots (and Red Sox) fan I cannot give up my bragging rights to a Super Bowl Championship. Unless of course you are making a prediction for the next Super Bowl.

He is my final comments on this subject? You may have the last word.
Newdow is a busy body who has a problem with God and Religion. He is part of the minority that has the gall to think he is going to dictate what the majority may or may not say. This is not a Religious issue with me. My Children will recite the POA as I teach them.
Newdow has used his Daughter to advance HIS political agenda. If he were truly a caring father that wanted what was best (for a child that HE IS NOT a Major player in his life I might add through his choices and actions) for her he would not have used her in such a way.
We Are talking about a person that is trying to tell the president of the united states and the rest of us how the president may swear the oath of office just because he has a problem with the words "so help me God." When Newdow is elected President he may swear the oath of Office any way he pleases for all I care.
I think we in the majority have just about reached our boiling point over those who insist on telling us what is acceptable speech and what is not.

So is it safe to say you consider W to be a bad father?

I don't know anything about George W Bush's parenting skills.....he is not the issue...Newdow actions have effected all public schools in our country. The one my son goes to as well..... HE HAS USED HIS DAUGHTER TO DO THIS. Its real hard for me to make this man "Father of the year"

Would your opinion of Michael Newdow be different if he weren't an out-spoken atheist?

My views on Michael Newdow are that he is political activist.....and don't try and bring religion into my argument. He is using his daughter.

Many men don't live up to their responsibilities as fathers and that's a tragedy. Here is one man who is living up to his responsibilities, whatever else he may be.

Well, then what you see and I see are different. I see a man who has put his political views above his Biological daughter. Its easy to father a child. Any man can do it. Its not easy to be a father. I see a man who is a bad (not the worse I have seen) example of fatherhood being defended for actions that don't look as pure as it appears to you.

From what I seen, read and heard about this it appears as though N is using his Daughter to advance his political agenda......I would like to know how all the Newdow defenders can actually try to put up such a defense. According to FOX news this morning Newdow tried to sue President elect Bush to remove "GOD" from the presidential oath and is going to try again. These actions are showing he has some sort of problem with God and is trying to solve it through the courts

I saw the interview last night. She has sole legal custody, they were never married, and the kid is a Christian. Does he really have legal standing for filing the suit?

It appears that didn't make a difference to the court
