A 27-year-old Chicago man was taken back into custody and is to appear today in U.S. District Court to face federal charges stemming from his weekend arrest for allegedly trying to bring nine knives and other weapons aboard an airliner at O’Hare International Airport, authorities said. Eighty-six percent of those surveyed in a Gallup/CNN/USA Today poll released Sunday say they now approve of the way Bush is handling his job - a whopping 35 percent improvement from last weekend. Bush's positive job approval rating is the highest of any post-war president except his father, George H.W. Bush, who had a 91 percent favorability rating after he led the nation to victory in the Persian Gulf War. The Gallup survey also showed that 88 percent of Americans now support military strikes on those responsible for Tuesday's terrorist attacks.
