Eighty-six percent of those surveyed in a Gallup/CNN/USA Today poll released Sunday say they now approve of the way Bush is handling his job - a whopping 35 percent improvement from last weekend. Bush's positive job approval rating is the highest of any post-war president except his father, George H.W. Bush, who had a 91 percent favorability rating after he led the nation to victory in the Persian Gulf War. The Gallup survey also showed that 88 percent of Americans now support military strikes on those responsible for Tuesday's terrorist attacks.
