Oh give me a break. He's far from perfect, but he's not off crying on the shoulder of his Argentinean soul-mistress, trying to get some bathroom love, or preying on young interns in the Executive Mansion like Clinton then perjuring himself. Nor did he resign from the governorship because loony-tune Massachusetts liberals criticized him for not being Stalinist enough. There's lots of time for the candidates to develop their positions, but right now I just want to know- how in the GOP is acting like a GROWN UP!? Jindal might be a grown up, but he talks on camera like a junior high kid giving a science project. Right now Romney, more so than anymore, is looking good by comparison. Campaigns are LONG and HARD fights and you need someone who can go for 2 years without drama and fireworks. Obama's campaign was relentlessly on-message with "HOPE CHANGE HOPE CHANGE" whereas McCain never quite figured out what he was even doing running for President. Same way Reagan was relentless in 1980 with his critique of big government and Carter malaise. I will still consider supporting Palin for sure, but she needs to CHILL OUT, starting getting serious about how she's going to get from Point A to Point B (whatever that may be) and not do anything media-centric. If she gets a talk radio show, a TV show, etc (which could happen, though i sort of doubt it), then count her out. You're not building a political operation as a radio host, though you may influence alot of people. She's talented, charismatic, passionate, and young, and the world is her oyster. But she can't have it both ways. I hope she gets serious about politics for the long-term, which isn't about winning news cycles but about building a massive, devastating political operation. See Obama 2008 & Bush 2004 for good examples of that. anyway, that's my opinion on things. cheers!
