Accounts of this weekend's activities in Crawford that were (or not) reported in the MSM force me to provide a SITREP of what happened. Did anyone catch "E-Ring" on NBC tonight? How did this patriotic, pro-military (and well acted) show get past the network "suits?" In an editorial published today in the NYT, Dr. Cindy Williams (MIT)(no, NOT the actress), wrote that military retirees were a drain on the economy, the federal budget, and were basically greedy parasites...all because they (we) draw retirement pay immediately upon retirement.
