Day 2 of 100 degrees here in western N.J. Not much rain lately either. Another scorcher tomorrow, then relief and rain. Getting tired of watering the veggies, sometimes twice a day.
Good to know all escaped death or serious injury. Also, at least it wasn’t some pristine lake filled with native trout. Probably not much life if any in that acid pool.
Only one thing. I do like just one good snowstorm. Right before Christmas. That’s it. Gone by New Year. Spring starts Jan.2nd. I’m not askin’ for much, am I?
There is just no excuse for this. None. The WH and media have been trying to take him down for years now. Politically, financially, socially, and just about everything short of assassination, but provoking one. The democrats have no shame and their phony wishes for his recovery are going to make me puke.
Hah! We have more tomatoes (red & yellow) than we know what to do with them, giving some away to friends. We’ll be lucky to get a pound of beans until the second crop. If we were neighbors, we could trade beans for ‘maters.
I am re-planting, different brand, back to Burpee, never had a problem. I’m in Zone 6, but still enough time. We have plenty of squirrels, but no chipmunks here, although a few miles away there are plenty. The squirrels are too busy robbing the birds suet to dig up the seeds!
After a disastrous debate, an embarrassing interview, his handlers are going to let him speak to the public? They are suicidal, like lemmings running towards the cliffs. I’d like to say it’s funny, but unfortunately it’s all too real and really sad for the country.
