You have it about right. Early on one of the sharp shooters, seeing the carcass, mentioned the kill shot was in the mouth. He didn’t mention an exit. For reasons known only to the security folks they clammed up after that and have simply left us with those first few observations. My guess, from there, is that there are so many buttz hanging out over their half-assed performance and they are just skeered spitless wondering when the firings start.

The basic notion that as many as eight shots got fired before the dirtbag got his, is way out there on the incredible scale. And the basic idea that a security guy couldn’t take a shot until Trump took a round in the ear tells us that much dirtbagness is afoot. Why the hell would a guy take a job that requires his protectee be injured before he can defend him?

where the spectators? As you look toward the stage where Trump was speaking, there was a “family” seating area down low on the lower left which would be down from Trump’s right side. We got that description from Admiral (Doc) Ronnie Jackson early on who said he had gotten some of his family seated there. Those first two shots that wounded the spectators were low and a bit Left, from the roof aspect.

A shot taken from the roof, 30 ft high, or so, would have taken a bit of compensation and might explain the early miss at Trump? A downhill shot takes a bit more skill than a horizontal line of sight.

Curiously, the roof shot at 130 or so yards, is the exact same distance from my shop to my house door. I kill varmits almost daily at that range. It takes a real low grade shooter or some poorass equipment to miss a head-size target at that range. Trump, and the Country, got a heckuva break with that poor shooting. And there needs to be some serious payback.

Your questions about walking/driving /carrying remind me that it’s not clear how much advance time there was knowing when Trump was going to have the rally? He can set up a rally very quickly but if the kid had 3-4 days to work with he could have done a lot of “packing.” And it’s not clear at all whether the kid actually knew the area since it seems he didn’t work near there.

And a van got hauled off. Did it actually belong to the punk or was it his dad’s?

-—less: Not steeper than 1:12. Barely steep enough for rain to run off. Definitely not a snow roof.

One of the video pieces taken very early on, from behind the podium, shows one of Trump’s shoes actually flying off the stage and away from the SS cluster. Looked like the wind blew it but there wasn’t any real wind. Had to be from something the SS was doing and you can’t blame Trump for not wanting to travel barefoot? From the pic that shoe must have flown 30 feet. You need that back stage video to understand the flying shoe.

Not a big fan of cucumbers but I’ll suck it up and give one a rub down long enough to test your suggestion. I’ll let you know if they charge me for the cuke.

It’s that PA humidity that makes it possible to see that supersonic bullet path. Any Kodak SLR that can shoot 1/500th could probly stop it. No need to get all digital and fancysmanchy about it.

Mumbles saddled up at the beach and got himself back to the white hut at midnight in the middle of his long weekend. That’s a guy who knows he’s in big trubble. He has to start talking his way out of all the cheepkrap he’s been spraying. He’s been leading the pack in wanting Trump hurt or worse. So far Mumbles has never fired a single buttdragger so now we’ll see if he can pick up the pace. There are plenty to choose from.

Yup: I was looking at the stick mag in the available pic and , from here , it looks like an AR-10 frame which would be .308. Lots of that around. But as you note, at Quantico, they train with not just 308 but 300 WM as well as 338 Lapua. The dummy’s head would not constitute enough of a mass to expand a soft point but any convenient ball round would be spectacularly fatal.

-—the shooter sucked——? Yeah, he did, and that helped save Trump. Not to make an excuse for the dumbass but the building he was shooting from looks to be, maybe, 30 feet high. That’s a pretty good down angle and requires some adjustment which an experienced shooter would have compensated for. It might explain the two wounded folks who were seated below Trump and down to his right. Not sure where the fatality was sitting but it seems like Trump was hit by at least the fourth shot which means , at least, the shooter was trying to get the range. It also explains why Trump heard shots before he was hit?

We don’t yet know he pedigree of the shooter’s AR platform rifle. While there are plenty of very accurate AR’s out there, there is also plenty of put-together junk. Could be the rifle wasn’t good enough to deliver the necessary aimed shot.

And the FOX guys are saying his dad bought it for him. That’s a dumbass who is in some life-changing trouble.

There was at least one high speed camera running when Trump took the ear round. PA humidity made the supersonic shock wave of the round somewhat visible. And that’s what shows in this pic.

We never hear the round that hits us simply because it hits before the sound catches up with the bullet. But Trump claimed he heard shots before he got hit. That would be explained by the first shots that killed the Dad and wounded two other people being fired before Trump’s bullet. But that only accounts for four shots.

The guy who was close to the shooter swears he heard five shots from him. there’s still one shot unaccounted for. Counting shouldn’t be hard since the empties should be laying on he roof. And there’s a hole in something else around where Trump was.

Then, assuming we’re seeing actual pics of the counter sniper, he was shooting something bigger than .223, which would be smart since they would want to be able to outgun the random dumbass.

As one who lives in a world of sharp things, powerful machines, and firepower of every sort, I fully expect to run out of BS flags before we get the straight story of the Trump Rally shootup?

Those plastic produce bags have defeated my fingers ever since they first came out about six decades ago. So I was at a produce counter trying to get a bag open and it just wasn’t happening. A young gal about six feet away saw me fumbling, never said a word, just stepped over, took the bag away from me, opened it and handed it back. Still never said a word. I thanked her and she split.

So that’s been my shopping method ever since: If I need produce, try to wait for a young gal to show up, look helpless, get the bag opened, and finish shopping. Refining my “look helpless” look has been a learning experience all by itself. Try to avoid getting busted for stalking———

crutch and boot confusion? As chance would have it I recently asked one of the family ER nurses about that exact thing. Long time nurse who has seen about all of it. She explained there is no predicting how people will try to use one crutch-—sometimes same side, sometimes opposite side. Jill might be pivoting off the good leg and swinging the boot.——She’s a dokter, you know?

That’s some weird mumbo jumbo right thar. You can let your cow graze on grass for half a year. Then you need to make up the difference in winter with some alfalfa, silage, etc. In both time periods you need to throw in a handful of grain, ground corn and the like or you will not get butterfat from Bossy. If you don’t add the grain stuff you’ll get skim milk and that is not even saleable and you’ll never make butter out of it. While it’s true enough that milk producers let their cows graze on grass, there is nobleeping way that’s all they feed them, especially if they want to sell their milk.

I well remember some of my own family dairy farmers who wouldn’t even make their own butter, choosing instead to leave the butterfat in the raw milk to keep their sale price up.

Yup, illegal voter registrations, voting records, free EBT cards and other charge cards, Hotel registrations, freebie cell phones. These wetbacks are marked people and the roundup should go really fast. The tent give-aways in some towns also serve to mark them. And remember how they chuck their home ID’s when they cross the border. Somebody should be saving them.

—Carson is a good man——Yup, and he’s been on the road working his butt for Trump. And will continue after the election. Trump will certainly use him some place. But he doesn’t quite have that command presence thing, not enough “bark”, maybe, to succeed Trump. And we don’t need a place holder like Bush43 used the Wyoming guy.
