My wife was working on her computer today and a Google.com photo of the front of our house popped up on her screen. Google had blurred out the American flag that was flying on the front of our house! Why would they do that?

The Biden administration and FEMA have announced a $500 million project to locate wolf dens in the Pacific Northwest and install solar powered fans to keep the temperatures in the dens lower because of the threaded heat from climate change. The Biden administration labeled it a howling success. In a related story it was discovered that too many young wolves were crossing the northern border to find a cooler climate in Canada. The wolves had not yet been properly tagged. They can’t be tracked by a GPS system, and therefore are considered undocumented. But the Canadian government will insure that...

It was just announced that Kathy Hochul has an amendment to New York's Senate Bill 536 to bring the name of Manhattan into the new era of wokeness. It will sense forth be known simply as Hattan, so that the woke generation won't feel endangered by the "Man" reference.

A middle school (6-8 grade) in Washington State has a gay and lesbian club as one of their after-school clubs. Some of these students are 11 years old, barely beginning to enter puberty!! This club is listed on their official school website. It is a school sponsored activity with a teacher advisor! We, the tax payers are paying for this! They are using school equipment to chat on-line. Would they allow a Bible study club, or an Eagle Scout club, or maybe a young republican club? This is outrageous!!!
  • Trying to Remember a Movie

    04/26/2020 3:31:12 PM PDT · by NorseWood · 41 replies
Back in the late 1960's or 1970's there was a movie about a family that went into a bomb shelter because of a nuclear attack. Months later the father went outside and discovered that it was all a hoax. There was no nuclear fallout. It was all about the power of fear. Exchange the bomb shelter for a face mask. Does anyone remember the title of the movie? Maybe it was a Twilight Zone episode?

Seattle Mayor Ed Murray wants to know exactly what President Donald Trump has planned for cities like Seattle that vow to resist federal immigration enforcement actions. Murray, in his final State of the City address delivered Tuesday from a mosque, said Seattle was filing public records requests with the Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies seeking information about the Trump administration's definition of "sanctuary cities" and what "enforcement actions the federal government may take against us." Seattle has vowed to protect immigrants and refugees and to not help federal authorities. Murray has instructed city departments to rework budgets...

  • Maryland Rain Tax

A "storm management fee" will be imposed on Maryland residents by Gov. Martin O'Malley — meaning that Maryland is essentially going to tax the rain that falls on people’s property. The bill apparently stems from an order from the Environmental Protection Agency to clean up the Chesapeake Bay estuary. The rationale is that since "roofs, driveways and carparks create more potential for drainage problems and water contamination," a fundraising fee will be assessed based on the size of the building and surrounding paved surfaces.

Government keeps growing -- and freedom keeps shrinking -- because we fail to make the moral case for free enterprise. Based on his best-selling book "The Road to Freedom," AEI President Arthur C. Brooks explains how we can win the fight for free enterprise by articulating what's written on our hearts. "We have to see that we're not in an economic battle for the future of America," Arthur says. "We're in a moral battle."

Unless those who love liberty stop it, the radical ideological belief in political paternalism and the welfare state may leave nothing but tyranny and poverty for generations to come. At the core of the Obama administration’s push for implementing a comprehensive national healthcare system and related programs is a radical ideological belief in political paternalism and the welfare state. Let’s examine the premises behind – and realities of – welfare statism. Power and paternalism First, the guiding idea behind political paternalism is that the individual cannot be trusted to be a free and responsible human being. Those who wish to...

The CIA has just released a memo that reveals details of a highly sophisticated spy effort by a foreign government to obtain information from within the White House. Kim Jung Il, it has been learned, has funded the development of a tiny, remote controlled airborne vehicle that contains a camera and highly sensitive listening devise. The devise would literally be a “fly on the wall” within the White House. Unfortunately, to the horror of its operators, during an interview in the White House earlier this week, as the fly was seeking out a better listening position, President Obama, with ninja...

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- North Korea demanded a 3,000 percent hike in rent Thursday from South Korea for the site of a joint industrial park at the center of a dispute roiling their relations. It also sought a more than fourfold increase in wages for North Korean workers employed by South Korean companies at the park, an official said.

I am heavily concerned about an expanding social phenomenon that is rolling across our country. We are faced with a national crisis that demands the focus and commitment of every citizen of our country. Trying to cover up the issue, or just ignoring it, will only inflate the problem. Although there have been countless studies, reports, and broadcast hours dedicated to the problem, I have finally been able to digest the issue and have just been able to get my arms around the solution. Lying awake late at night pondering this issue, I realized the answer. It came to me...

There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”...
