This past weekend, Minister Louis Farrakhan held a National Town Hall Meeting in Houston, Texas to encourage the evacuees and discuss measures to be taken in Hurricane Katrina's aftermath. Farrakhan was joined by the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network president Ben Chavis, Jim Jones, Erykah Badu and other Black leaders at the meeting. Victims of the hurricane were bussed to the meeting from the Houston's Astrodome, the Reliant Center and other shelters in the city.
