In 2005, George W. Bush appointed John Roberts to SCOTUS and also designated him as the Chief Justice, replacing the recently deceased William Rehnquist in both roles. Question: either now, or when Trump replaces the next departed justice -- can Trump change who is the Chief Justice? Because the Constitution doesn't say anything about how a person is designated to be the chief, I'm wondering if Trump could say, at any time (this is an example): "I'm nominating Amy Barrett to replace Darth Bader Ginsburg, John Roberts will become an Associate Justice, and I appoint Clarence Thomas as Chief Justice."...

There is this sudden multi-state push for late-term abortion (aka infanticide, aka murder). So I discovered something annoying. I have long been in the custom of watching streaming videos (on Amazon Prime) and making screen captures to turn into amusing memes. As of today, when I tried to make a screen cap and then paste in my graphics program, the video portion of the screen cap is black. Has anyone purchased an "Education version" of Corel Draw Graphics Suite? (Not the "Home and Student" version, which is a separate product.) I'm trying to find out if activating and using it is as simple as having a valid .EDU email address, or if there are more steps involved. Hello FReepers. I have long had a problem with the cervical vertebrae in my neck -- the problem manifests as numbness, tingling, and/or pain in my left forearm and left hand.
