Does anyone know when Gallup is coming out with a new poll? If I remember correctly, they had one out within about 2 days of the first debate. I'm curious when the next one is coming out.

Kerry said this in an interview today posted on Yahoo: "We should not have gone into Iraq knowing today what we know," Kerry told ABC. "Knowing there was no imminent threat to America, knowing there were no weapons of mass destruction, knowing there was no connection between 9/11 and Saddam Hussein, I would not have voted to support war."

I was listening to Rush and he stated that Mullah Omar is trying to surrender now. I don't know where he got this from, or what source he is citing. Did anyone hear where he is getting this from, or has anyone seen a story on it?

Did anyone see Ted Kennedy a minute ago call Bush's conservative nominees "neanderthals"? This is sickening, and disgraceful to each of the honorable 4 nominees who have been filibustered by the Senate. Basically, he is saying that anyone with a pro-life, strict constructionist vision of the constitution is a neanderthal. Well, I have one thing to say to you Ted Kennedy: Look in the mirror, that's the only Neanderthal I see in all of this.

Guess Who Doesn't Believe In God? Ten percent of Protestants, 21 percent of Roman Catholics, and 52 percent of Jews do NOT believe in God. That's the surprising word from a new survey by Harris Interactive of 2,306 adults that shows belief in God varies quite widely among different segments of the American public. How often do we go to a place of worship? Not much. Most people attend a religious service less than once a month. Still, Americans are far more likely to believe in God and to attend religious services than people in most other developed countries, particularly...

I went to Zogby's website this evening, and it says that he is releasing a final poll tonight for all of the Senate races. Does anyone have this data or will have this data later tonight? If so, please post it here, inquiring minds want to know!!

I am getting really nervous that the midterm elections are going to be a strong showing for the Democrats. I have been looking at polls on realclearpolitics.com which show the Democrats having all of the momentum. 1. For example, it looks like Shaheen has been pulling ahead of Sununu in NH. 2. We might be dangerously close to losing in South Carolina. 3. Hutchinson is in serious trouble in Arkansas. If we can't win in these traditionally conservative states, how are we ever going to retake the Senate? My question, then, for everyone is what can we do in the...

I have been trying to find polls on the West Virginia Senate race between Jay Wolfe and Rockefeller. Most forecasters predict an easy victory for Rockefeller, but with West Virginia going to Bush, it would seem like a Republican would have a shot. So if you have any data out there, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

WASHINGTON -- The Senate ethics panel investigating Sen. Robert Torricelli is nearing the end of its work, and will not interview the New Jersey Democrat's chief accuser, its chairman said. The ethics committee -- three Republican and three Democratic senators -- met with Torricelli and his lawyer for nearly three hours before adjourning for the night. "We're too tired -- I'll be honest with you -- to make any decisions tonight," the committee chairman, Democratic Sen. Daniel Inouye of Hawaii, said Thursday as the meeting broke up. Earlier in the week, Torricelli spent more than four hours testifying before ethics...

Ok folks...thought we would start another thread about the markets as the bell is about to ring this morning at 9AM. Post your thoughts about the Dow and keep everyone updated. Hope the bulls come out today!

I thought we could have a little fun making pledges that liberals would want. Here are two that I came up with: I pledge allegiance, to the rainbow flag, of the People's Socialist Republic, and to the hypocrisy, for which it stands, one commune, under Democrats, with abortions, and prescription drugs, for all.

Today is the last day of the Supreme Court's 01/02 session. The ruling in the vouchers case should come down today, along with a few other cases. Keep your eyes peeled for the decisions as they come out...of course, comment on them as well.

Terry MacAuliffe, the head of the DNC (and a major clymer punk), will be speaking at the University of Virginia Law School on Thursday, November 1st at 5PM. Freepers, we need to have a presence to show this punk where to go. I encourage everyone in the Charlottesville, Virginia area to come out. I know I'll be there (I'm a student at the law school).
