Walks in to the A&E (ER) ,John Radcliffe UCH Oxford , waits for six minutes.
Escorted into another building.
Wired up, blood taken , pressures tested.
*concerned expression on doctor *
Doctor comes back with a small white pill.
“What’s this?”
“A small white pill,….back shortly “
Swallows pill.
Twenty minutes later: How are you feeling?
Um…human…just.

Wheeled up to another floor and experimented on for eight hours.
Full diagnostic carried out, nowt found except high hydraulic pressure.
Ejected from hospital at 08:00h with a prescription for more little white pills.

Hydraulic pressure is now no longer a danger to anyone within 60 feet.

The Wife has taken the Lada because the Tank has been taken in for service by the Bear.

The weather...(at last on to the main points)...The summer has consisted of mostly rain. Rudely interrupted by the occasional sunny day.
Almost no Birds have survived the Flu outbreak, just a few ducks, and very few insects either.

Not all gloom and doom, tourist numbers are up.
And my favourite bookshop is doing well again after a huge drop in sales.

Oh no, the rise of the Avian Oligarch!

Elections for both local councils and parliament this year, so we can remix the blancmange and recreate some new clowns from the old moulds.
The Queen is sorely missed. Charlie isn’t very well at the moment, so this is slowing down the loony tunes a bit.
They are still selling QE 2 memorabilia in the tourist shops as well as the Charlie stuff. Rather surreal….I’m waiting for the Queen Vic stuff to surface next. Viva la merchandise.
