You're missing my point. Yes, immigration is a national issue and all of the lives taken by illegals count no matter what the discourse is. The point was that the first step is to close the borders down to the liking of the border state governors. In other words, let the governors take over the right and ability to shut the borders away from the Federal Government. It is a job that is better done by the state and its National Guard and the land owners within those states. Someone in Michigan does not need to be involved in how Arizona shuts its border. Give the power to those states to do what is necessary and then we can begin talking about what to do with the illegals already on soil and those workers that would like to come over legally.

Quit ready into the statement! He said that it is first, a border state issue. The issue of shutting the border is first and foremost and has only to do with border states. Then it is an issue of a guest worker program. States like WA, CO, MI and anywhere else they need guest workers are now included in the discussion.

What exactly do you have a problem with this specific position as it is stated in these sentences? I'll give you he has been a little left of where I'd like to see him on immigration but these two comments about securing our border and having a legitimate guest worker program are dead on truths.

Here to stay? No doubt about that. Won? No way. Maybe in your neck of the woods but as long as there is a Constitution that allows free speech, the right to assemble and an election cycle that has an acceptable level of integrity (notice I’m giving you a little here) then the cause of Conservatism will always be alive. The issue at hand is that there can not be just Conservatism or just Liberalism. They must always oppose each other and must always keep a checks and balance against one another in place, otherwise, you have an extremist regime where the “opposition” is suppressed, oppressed or even eliminated. We’ll be just fine, at least according to Hillary...:-)

I wouldn’t bet your life on that one. Most of my friends have at least 2 shotguns (12 and 20 gauge), 2-3 rifles (22-250, 243 and 7MM, 30-06, 308, etc) for small and big game, 2-3 pistols including 9mm, 40 caliber and 44 magnum. Every one of which will put a big hole in you. Not to mention the 50 calibre muzzle loader for the coyotes.

    Montana4Jesus to chiya
Hi Chiya. It is legal and is really just a communication gap. When you ordered the payoff that triggered their system to expect a payoff in h=full. When they got your payment they saw that it would not be enough to cover the payoff and they returned the money. It would have been illegal if they had kept it. It is fairly common with title company errors in refinances and requires us (lenders) to go back and re-adjust the HUDs, often to the customers dismay unfortunately. What you want to do is use your coupon for the next payment you make and mark down the overage as a Payment to Principle. Do be careful though that you are not triggering a prepayment penalty. If you have one it may say that you can not pay down more that 20% of the current balance in any 12 month period. Even though you are not paying it all off, if you have one of these PPP you might trigger it. You can also call Countrywide and they may re-amortize your mortgage payment on the remaining $6000 so that you are not still paying the old mortgage payment but a much smaller payment based on the new principle balance and the old terms. Good luck.

I can’t believe that there isn’t someone out there that has that thing. What about his opponents in his early elections, old Chicago Tribunes, something. This is going to be really freakin irritating if no one can read that until after the election.

Amen. A vote for anyone other than the Republican Nominee is a vote for the Democrat, no matter how you look at it and hiding behind “voting my conscience” is a noble idea but a deadly one. My conscience says now way Clinton or Obama in the White House and that is how I will vote. I choose to live and fight another day for the right Republican rather than see our nation destroyed. Open your eyes and look to the future.

I think that the problem is that no matter what they do there is going to be a Islamic state there. They face a similar issue as the Israelis. Either give them their own state or let them to continue to populate and push their way into the political folds of the existing nation and loose thereby loosing their own sovereignty. For example we don’t have to go any farther than Spain, France and soon Britain. It is a paradox that has very few win scenarios.

Sorry I keep following you like this Travis but they go so well together...

“This [Federal Reserve Act] establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President [Wilson} signs this bill, the invisible government of the monetary power will be legalized....the worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking and currency bill.”
    - Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. , 1913

“The [Federal Reserve Act] as it stands seems to me to open the way to a vast inflation of the currency... I do not like to think that any law can be passed that will make it possible to submerge the gold standard in a flood of irredeemable paper currency.”
    - Henry Cabot Lodge Sr., 1913

“The few who understand the system, will either be so interested from it’s profits or so dependant on it’s favors, that there will be no opposition from that class.”
    - Rothschild Brothers of London, 1863

“We have, in this country, one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board. This evil institution has impoverished the people of the United States and has practically bankrupted our government. It has done this through the corrupt practices of the moneyed vultures who control it.”
    - Congressman Louis T. McFadden in 1932 (Rep. Pa)

“Some people think the Federal Reserve Banks are the United States government’s institutions.
They are not government institutions. They are private credit monopolies which prey upon the people
of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign swindlers” — Congressional
Record 12595-12603 — Louis T. McFadden, Chairman of the Committee on Banking and
    Currency (12 years) June 10, 1932

“A great industrial nation is controlled by it’s system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the world—no longer a government of free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of small groups of dominant men.” —President Woodrow Wilson

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.
Already they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The
issuing power (of money) should be taken away from the banks and restored to the people to
whom it properly belongs.”—Thomas Jefferson, U.S. President.

“If Congress has the right [it doesn’t] to issue paper money [currency], it was given to them to be
used by...[the government] and not to be delegated to individuals or corporations” — President
Andrew Jackson, Vetoed Bank Bill of 1836

“History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their control over governments by controlling money and it’s issuance”. — James Madison

“Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The Bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create deposits, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take it away from them, and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of Bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create deposits”.- SIR JOSIAH STAMP, (President of the Bank of England in the 1920’s, the second richest man in Britain)

It is a terrible situation when the Government, to insure the National Wealth, must go in debt and submit to ruinous interest charges at the hands of men who control the fictitious value of gold. Interest is the invention of Satan”. - THOMAS A. EDISON

“By this means government may secretly and unobserved, confiscate the wealth of the people,
and not one man in a million will detect the theft.”—John Maynard Keynes (the father of ‘Keynesian Economics’ which our nation now endures) in his book “THE ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES
    OF THE PEACE” (1920).

“Capital must protect itself in every way...Debts must be collected and loans and mortgages
foreclosed as soon as possible. When through a process of law the common people have lost their
homes, they will be more tractable and more easily governed by the strong arm of the law applied
by the central power of leading financiers. People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders.
This is well known among our principal men now engaged in forming an imperialism of capitalism to
govern the world. By dividing the people we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over
questions of no importance to us except as teachers of the common herd.”—
Taken from the Civil Servants’ Year Book, “The Organizer” January 1934.

“It is well that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for
if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.” — Henry Ford
