I found the books in retrospect to have the moral grounding of the time they were written not the forties. Divorce was a big deal in the forties, especially within the military. Sexual connections were certainly common in wartime but those who didn’t get back on the porch were shunned.

I have always thought there should be an guilty and insane verdict that would allow us to execute dangerous insane people. There are not dangerous insane people and there are dangerous ones. Dangerous murderers should be executed.

Yup. GS was Obamas biggest corporate donor.
Who gets the vaccine when nurses on wards treating flu patients get cant it?
GS big shots.
Great political ammo here. Especially since we have the WH log which show both the CEO of Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan visiting the WH.
We also have Liebermans little trip to talk to Sibelius at HHS last week. Connecticut had been promised half a million doses of vaccine by the end of October. It got 180,000. Lieberman announced, after his talk with Sibelius, that HHS would see CT would get 100,000 more doses within days.
