What it will take for them to actually vote to re-open seems to be anyone guess now. I would live to be a fly on the wall to watch the infighting on what this weeks demand will be.
I had a similar thought as well. Not so much the filibuster, but they want it to end and have a way to escape any blame from the socialists they now have to coddle.
Got it. I's all about the Dems "brand" not the struggling air traffic controllers, military personnel, etc. They want misery, they don't care about peoples lives as long as it gives them power.

That was quick. From winning to begging for money the next day, hiring an all “old guard” transition team and no exotic “working” vacations. Break out the popcorn.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they are trying to gain favor with him so he will look the other way and create some exceptions to benefit them or their business. The whole city is corrupt.

I love how they report on this after the election. Real journalist, we report on these things, in great detail, and ask tough questions of candidates like him before the election.

I knew he was absolutely insane, however, I didn’t realize he was “ no more NYPD responding to domestic violence calls” insane. Where are all the domestic violence/women’s safety advocacy groups on that one?

I see one advantage of these government run stores. Theoretically, unless they get real creative with how they operate them, they should be subject to open records requests. Usually, departments like produce, meet, bakery, and other similar departments do monthly inventories, while the non-perishable departments such as frozen food, dairy, and dry grocery do inventory twice a year.
But these stores operate for a while, then just start getting record requests of all their invoices, inventory reports, etc. Just to see how much is stolen from them.

I wonder if that’s part of the plan. All the smaller landlords who use the rent to just have a normal life, pay their bills, feed their family and maintain the rental properties will be screwed. Then, companies like Black rock can move in and scoop up the properties.
