Interesting this comes out now while the liberals are out getting signatures for an open primary and ranked choice. Once they get the signatures you can bet the liberals will push this along with the Abortion issue.
Wrong! I live in Arizona and this ruling will energize the female, liberal and moderate voters. This might have cost AZ the President, Senate and a few house Republicans members.
We were approached last weekend in Downtiwn Chandler to sign the petition. We were told this was for “Republican registered voters” we were skeptical and looked at the wording and it mentioned open Primary and I knew it was a Democrat supported issue. Unfortunately I saw people sign it without reading it. If it gets to a ballot the dumb voters in AZ will pass it. Ugh
Too bad we can’t have logical people like you in charge. Instead we have a bunch of nitwits that will use this for political gain and the media will help them!
Sinema is not going to run, she will drop out to prevent a Republican take over. The libs and Dems will provide her with a big retirement pay day. Maybe teach at a college on day a semester for $1 mil a year!
“ There needs to be a compensation fund for lost loads.” I agree! Another idea would be to start a go fund me campaign to help businesses move off of New York! Maybe you do both. Pay truckers to not deliver and assist companies to relocate.
You are correct. Beers are around $9 and mixed drinks $12. I watch from a house so I bring my own. Sat General Admission was sold out but you could buy tickets off the re-sale sites for $150. Also, the Corp tent tickets are $500 to $2000 each on Sat. In the tents, you usually get 10 free drinks and food. On Sat I saw a couple of guys pulling small “airplane” bottles of liquor out of their jackets so I imagine there is a lot of that. I think a lot of people are buzzed before they get there. The lines to buy drinks were huge. We had people stopping by the house asking for beers or drinks. We would not do it. It used to be a lot of fun, but now I usually only go out on Sundays. They need to make changes.
I go ever year and it has gotten out of control. One of the problems this year was the rain delays. While the golfers wait the fans drink, and drink, and drink. By the time play resumed they are all drunk. You go to any sporting event they don’t serve alcohol for 12 hours straight. What do they think will happen. The other problem, they have built corporate tents on holes 9-18 leaving little room for General admission fans to go. So now the cart paths and small green/desert areas are overcrowded with lots of drunks, which creates an atmosphere for brawls.
