I truly was only protesting the use of Iraq WMD, and the Benghazi “tape” as the chosen “proof” of misleading or fabricated intel.

I absolutely agree about recent evidence showing the FBI making up stuff out of whole cloth. As for the CIA, likewise, I expect them to be involved in disseminating a whole bunch of disinformation, and outright propaganda to suit their purposes as they’ve done for decades. Let’s not even get into what the State Dept. has done over the years (the last 8 especially). We’re still dealing with an infrastructure that has not been on the side of the American people in quite some time now.

I’m personally not sure what to think about who the real culprit behind these chemical attacks are - though I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up that Assad is responsible. The guy isn’t above doing this, and it’s not like he hasn’t done it before. That said, I also don’t discount the possibility that ISIS or ISIS-supporters may have done this on purpose as well. If you want to go really far down the rabbit-hole... well, let’s not cause that’s a scary, and very dark place, and what we’re dealing with on the surface at this point is scary enough.

Of course, the Iraq WMD stuff does kind of have bearing on this situation... you know considering there were convoys of it moved to Syria back in early 2003. Chances are that stockpile is gone by now though... used by Assad against his own people for a LONG time now.

I wasn't trying to prove any point - except to say that if you want to trash our military intel you'll have to provide better examples.

BTW, choose to believe what you will about the WMDs - it's clear you have already done so, and did a long time ago, and rehashing anything here wouldn't be productive. It's just that using WMDs and Benghazi to try to say we have ineffective intelligence reports on this specific occasion doesn't back up the point you are trying to make very convincingly, IMHO.

LOL - Iraq DID have WMDs and many reports point to many of those WMDs being moved to Syria just before we invaded (other caches were buried IN Iraq itself). After 14 years and the dumped Iraqi documents published here on FR back in the day this should be common knowledge. Heck, even the Obama admin admitted that Syria had in their possession some of those same WMDs a couple (few) years ago.

The Benghazi video story wasn’t promoted or even spoken of to anyone from US intel agencies, it was a BS cover story completely invented by Obama and company...

Just saying... those two specific situations don’t really prove the point you are trying to make right now.

I haven’t been around these parts in a while, and came tonight wanting to be around FRiends in the wake of this development. I’m glad to see your comment as I thought I may have inadvertently gotten lost in the ether on the way here! I certainly didn’t expect some of the things I’m hearing on this thread - nor on the other Breaking News thread about the airstrikes. I thought FR supported Trump (or that most did)? These comments DO seem to be peppered with Dem talking points!

I don’t expect cheerleading at a time such as this, but was hoping to find thought-provoking commentary, and sharing of information like how it used to be... I hope that will be forthcoming soon. I’m currently out of the loop, so to speak, so I’ll have to wait for others with better insight who may already be sleeping, or otherwise engaged right now!

In the meantime I guess I’ll just go back to praying for favorable outcomes, and praying for any innocent lives caught and lost in the crossfire.

Verified via being reported on multiple networks and the Chicago PD are investigating the incident. The police report apparently states that this was a traffic altercation and no mention is made of the perpetrators being motivated by the election. Those filming it on the other hand obviously *wished* it were so.

I’ve seen many of those yellow and black professionally printed signs in the pics of the riots in Oregon - none of the pictures were clear enough for me to read the web address on the bottom though.

I think you would need more than someone holding a sign to prosecute Soros though (unfortunately).

Judging from some of one of my daughter’s comments and those of her friends a lot of those Johnson votes are very likely former Bernie supporters. I /still/ see Bernie yard signs here and there in Wausau.

Just a general comment... It’s pretty amazing to me that people would not be aware of how a child contracts CONGENITAL Herpes Simplex. The name alone should indicate to people that this child was exposed in-utero or during birth.

Thanks for the extra information... The problem here remains that the school nurse, under direction from a superior was not just changing the girl's diaper. The allegation is that the nurse - by her own alleged admission - was removing all of the girl's clothing and inspecting every part of her body, not just the areas exposed when the diaper was being changed. You do not need to remove all of a child's clothing to change a diaper.

The second thing that jumps out at me here is that if this child was still in diapers, was she sent to the school nurse to change her diapers every time they needed to be changed? That seems pretty far-fetched to me... If the school nurse is not the one that regularly changes the girl's diapers then why was she sent to the nurse on a daily basis to begin with?

There seems to be a lot more left out of both articles, frankly.

Hmmm.... I call BS on the increase for an “average” family being $240 in 2014. We were notified that our premiums are going up $120 PER MONTH starting on Jan. 1st with no change in our insurance policy as my husband’s employer already made those necessary compliance changes last year. Over the last few years our premiums have gone up over 300% ALREADY (before this latest increase), and we went from NO deductible (technically a $1500 deductible which was paid for by our employer) to a $3000 deductible paid out of our pockets.

IOW - ALL of these estimated figures are woefully UNDERestimated, and don’t even reflect the truth of what has already happened to the “average family”.

The next time someone brings up how primates engage in “homosexuality” be sure to point out that there’s nothing “pleasant” for the male chimp that’s the object of the other’s “affections”... It’s RAPE and dominance - not pleasure that they are engaging in.

Another thing I’ve mentioned that seems to set them into a frenzy of cognitive dissonance is explaining that Chimpanzees also murder infants by bashing their skulls on rocks and such. Ask them if we should be OK with that behavior too, since after all, we’re only animals...

Here’s the scoop on the TRUTH from one of my daughters who has a friend in that community here...

Apparently, a bunch of people here in Wausau will still be walking — not even the LGBT community here in Wausau wanted ANYTHING to do with this guy as he lied about several things, and was PLANNING on causing a big stir ON PURPOSE. I support their right to march as it is the law, and freedom of speech and assembly and all, and I’m VERY glad the community here in Wausau told Mr. California to get the heck out! We do just fine here, and we do not NEED someone coming here from CA to tell us how “wrong” we all are.

Thank God. I was NOT looking forward to seeing how bad it was going to be. A decent parade - even if it was a pride parade - would have been no big deal here in town. We even have a gay bar downtown and no safety issues that I’m aware of - it’s a pretty accepting community. The problem came when he WANTED to make it “over the top” with drag shows, and only God knows what else... What plays in California does NOT play here in the Dairyland.

It’s absolutely ridiculous because you don’t even HAVE to be Catholic to attend a Catholic school! One of our fellow students was JEWISH, and I know there were some kids and families that I /never/ saw in Church on Sundays, either! Our teachers emphasized our equality to others as we were ALL God’s children no matter our backgrounds or faith, and didn’t encourage divisiveness - even to those outside the church. It wasn’t until going to public school that I saw that kind of divisive and damaging behavior among the students - divisive along every line you can think of; looks, money, clothes, cars, parents’ jobs, etc... etc... But then that’s what these politicians want. They don’t TRULY want peace, they strive for chaos because it gives them the foundation for seeking more power over us all.

I attended Catholic school. There was way more divisiveness encouraged and tolerated in the public schools I attended for Jr. High and HS than in the parochial school. This has absolutely nothing to do with “fixing” something broken, and everything to do with private schooling exposing the flaws in the public education system. It has everything to do with instituting absolute government oversight of our children - see Head Start for an example. They truly want our children from the cradle to the grave.
