Thank you,NYer for posting this translation of the Holy Father's remarks.Especially appreciated that besides being so beautiful and clear, was done without notes!
I agree with you, 100%! Hewitt also said something to the effect that Weigel was testy in talking about what the Holy Father should be doing. I thought when I heard that, who is Weigel to presume to advise the Holy Father on anything, including when and what he should be doing.
Yummy in the tummy!! Thanks very much Sally for the recipe. Right now, I intend to have black-eyed peas with port neck bones or ham, buttermilk cornbread and mixed greens.I'm debating about baking some yams. Thanks again.
Your menu sounds so delicious!! Would you mind sharing your recipe for the "Buttermilk Cornbread." I love corn bread, so I know I'd love it with buttermilk in it. Thanks.
Thanks, kitkat! I too can vouch for the nuns who taught me(Sisters of Mercy). They were wonderful. I always said that they were the best army of women God created!
Thanks,TruthNtegrity. I just kind of wondered about the cat. Normally, small carriers are for cats and I've always seen Miss Beezley walking along with Barney or being held by the First Lady.

I for one do not like seeing our President being shown so much disrespect as you've shown and especially since you're not an American. Looking at your profile shows you as a Panamanian. Where do you get off saying those things about our President?!
Snugs,I'm so very sorry to hear about your mother passing away. It reminds me of what Lady Thatcher said at President Reagan's funeral(via taped video). Somthing to the effect that he was now "more like himself than ever",paraphrasing. What a day to pass on, the Lord's birthday!
