Today my husband and I did the right thing. We put our beloved pet down, we decided her life had no joy, no moment free from pain. Our little "Trouble", had tumors on her chest, she would whimper if touched , My darling Trouble would just stand sometimes in one place, rickety legs, wobbling body. As I walked through the Supermarket today, I passed through the isle that was full of children's toys of all kinds. I received a jury summons from the municipal court. (traffic tickets, dogs barking, all issues falling under local jurisdiction). Among the usual relevant questions on the form that MUST BE FILLED OUT, such as age, term and county of residence, former jury service, convictions, etc., was one that puzzled me. I'm going to set aside the fact that the government wants me to fill out my short form and mail it back today; even though the questions and the count, are dated April 1st, 2010.
