I try to make it a point not to start flame wars on this forum, and this is certainly not my attempt, but in light of the current circumstances, I feel I need to address something in a general sense regarding the above comment, and too many others I have read on this site of late.

With that said, if you really think "we’re all next", why bother posting that? Would it not be better if [all of us] worked on posting something more uplifting? Possibly solution oriented?

Note the commonality in the response to your above comment. They are saying, in a nutshell "we fight back - period". With the way things are in this country, this needs to be the attitude of Real Americans these days, instead of the black-pilled comments that usually fill the first ten of every posts' comments on this site.

It’s like maybe these folks want things to get worse? Do you want everything to get to a point of Revelation 13:17-18 just so you can post "See, I told you so!" Does telling everyone "the worst is yet to come" make you feel better about yourself?

What happened to the Free Republic? This used to be the place where folks didn’t whine about how bad it was. We organized. We laid out guidelines and ideas on fighting back. My wife and other members of this family gave credit in part to this web site for surviving the stupid pandemic (if there ever was one). We followed the medical advice given here despite the vax-covidians who spammed this site for 2 years.

[ Just as annoying as the blue and yellow flag-waving war hawks on this site while we are facing a full on invasion from the south. But I digress... ]

Yes, it’s tough. Now, the federal mandate for pre-natal genocide has been stuck down, and the enemy is outraged. As expected, they will erupt. Our goal should not act as fortune tellers for the worse case, but to start dealing with reality, and how to fight back. Do you see how your government is responding to the Supreme Court? Have you been noticing the increased number of raids on innocent people’s homes? How the government is going out of its way to destroy everything it touches?

That’s just part of the problem. The biggest part of the problem is that we’re doing nothing about it.

It bothers me just as much as folks proclaiming we're "inching closer to a second civil war". See tagline.

There are locals around here that aren't fearing riots in the near future – they are preparing for them – and worse. We are expecting direct attacks on Supreme Court Justices, lower court justices, churches, etc. After all, there’s no one around to stop them.

And there won’t be – so long as we sit on our best intentions and tell everyone else that resistance is futile.

Let’s start talking about what CAN be done. It’s time we start motivating each other to stand up for ourselves, and not cower in fear.

It’s time people. The Justices (with help from those placed there by Pres. #45) has stated the following:

    a) killing the unborn is not a right protected in the Construction
    b) defending ourselves against those who wish to do so (and against all enemies foreign and domestic) IS as a right guaranteed in the Constitution.

That is my $0.02 for the day.

    forgot to mention:

Get local and friendly media interested in the case. Document your actions. Do NOT look for good press from the legacy media - no matter how nice they are to you. When talking to the GOOD, remember you’re talking to people outside the area for support (using local jargon may not work). Also remember that once you start to get attention, the legacy media will be looking for anyone or anything to use against you. (see: Canadian Truckers).

the question was: “...How or what actions can Freepers take?”

I made reference to this issue on a previous thread:

In fact, it was this website/forum that was instrumental in putting up a resistance to a similar issue back in 2001. So, from experience, here’s are the actions Freepers can take:

    1. Get Active. There is no white knight in shining armor coming to save you, neither will the lawyers. At best, the appeals will continue up to SCOTUS (you know - that bunch currently under siege). And by that time, it’ll be too late. You’ve made lawyers richer, and your farms will be gone.

    2. Find locals in the area - folks who know where the water comes from. You’ll need to gather the affected people at the point of the water detour. This is where you eventually will have to re-direct the water to where it needs to go. Note: your presence there WILL probably draw in federal law enforcement. Good. You want lots of eyes on the issue at hand. But you want (and need) local law enforcement on your side. If you’re blocked, go further up stream until you find a workable branch point.

    3. For those thinking or saying “this is illegal; it can’t be done, etc”, I’ll say that America - like most other countries in the past has had countless numbers of localized water wars throughout their history. This is a non-partisan, non-negotiable issue. Humans need water - period. If there is/was a legal agreement in place to supply the local communities with water, the locals will have to enforce it.

    4. This may require locals to deal in-directly with the enforcers. Back in the day, they were shunned. Not served in restaurants, moved to the back of the list for service whenever possible. You see, most of the folks the government sends out to control the locals live in the area, or have to operate there. the mission will be to make it as uncomfortable and inconvenient as possible until your demands are met, or until they just leave.

    Yes, we’re talking civil disobedience.

Again, look up Klamath Falls c. 2001 (OR), Jarbridge Water Brigade (ID), Sagebrush Rebellion (Northern NV), Shoot, Shovel and Shut Up operations in NB just to name a few. But these events only occurred with folks decided that doing nothing and complaining was no longer an option.

Hope that helps. And for a final word on this matter, see tag line.

    Mr. Dallas,

With all due respect, I must disagree with your analysis. I can offer a solution that will seem controversial on its face, but having life experience in this area, I may be able to offer a different insight.

    But first, a little background...

as a news reporter/director, I recall attending a Geology seminar (public meeting) back in 2003 at UNLV. I remember this from remembering some green activist openly state ‘... the biggest threat to the environment is agriculture...’. I was more surprise that no one was shocked as her comment, but I digress...

The main thrust of the meeting was a push for federal funding to push for additional water resources, and the U.S. Geological Survey (yes - feds) had predicted that if a solution wasn’t found in say 5 years, there could be ‘water wars’ (their words) by 2025.

    Pretty accurate, huh?

However, they put the blame of the water level dropping on the increase in population. People need water - regardless of income level. Same with food. Food needs demand increase in agriculture. I remember this. One needs to just look at the population of the high desert area from AZ, NV and southern CA from when Hoover Dam was built and compare it to now. The only thing added was those Vegas ‘straws’.

If/when CA and AZ start running out of water in that climate, you can very well see ‘water wars’. I saw what happened in Vegas one 100 degree day when an apartment complex was out of water for 9 hours (Clark County’s finest almost lost control of the situation).

Now, think about that with say 20-25 million folks depending on that puddle of water. Not just for drinking, but that same puddle has to keep generators running, which in turn keeps the AC on, and most of the local wells running where there is no city water.

    Get the picture?

With that said, here’s my suggestion for a ‘possible’ solution, although it’s clearly NOT an overnight fix:

A capillary pipe system that pumps sea water from say Monterey CA toward Death Valley. It’s 282 feet below sea level. Get those pipes filled to the peak, and let gravity do the rest. Fill the valley until it’s at mean sea level.

Of course, the is not potable water. It’s not meant to be. But with the high temps, most will just evaporate away - and come back down as rain or humidity somewhere eastbound - as in the Colorado Valley...

... thus allowing the hot climate to act as a natural desalination plant.

Go ahead. Call me crazy, but I’ll bet I’m not the first person who’s thought of it.

    Just my $0.02

From watching the video (advice for those on this side of the Atlantic), here are some recommendations:

    1. Grab the folks documenting the incident first. Relieve them of their recording equipment.

    2. Make sure those near the front of the blocked traffic are documenting what will take place next.

    3. Inform drivers in front of line to be prepared to run down any armed protestor upon production of a weapon.

    4. Disarm any armed participant. Use of force here is acceptable as a means of self-defense.

    5. Using rope or jumper cables, remove each ‘protestor’, tying hands to guard rails outside lanes of traffic (handcuff assistance acceptable). Note: once this happens to the first couple, the rest may scatter. This is an acceptable outcome).

    6. Check and document any identification found on the law breakers (including tattoos, piercing’s, etc.

    7. Photograph each participant; broadcast gathered information on social media.

    8. Informed said law breaker their personal information has just been made public.

    9. Contact local law enforcement informing them of the debris left on the side of the road.

    10. Rinse, repeat.
