Zelensky issues statement announcing that Ukraine and the US are working on a ‘ten-year’ funding agreement
American Thinker ^ | April 29, 2024 | Olivia Murray

Volodymyr Zelensky recently released a statement revealing that his regime and the government of Washington D.C. were in continued contact, “working on a bilateral security agreement” that would see “monetary aid” sent to Ukraine for an agreed-upon time of ten years.

###

Despite an individual’s personal feelings on the Russia-Ukraine war, the facts of the matter are that Ukraine is not a NATO country—and at this point, the cost-benefit analysis of being a member of the NATO pact is definitely not worth it for the American people—and Zelensky is not a good guy. This isn’t to say that Vladimir Putin is…but between the two? One nation is notoriously corrupt and a known hub of human trafficking, while its leaders push cultural LGBTQ++ perversion, steal our wealth (taking hundreds of millions off the top for themselves), send their own people into the meat grinder of warfare, and ally themselves with leftist Hollywood, Joe Biden, and all the scum of D.C.; the other nation sentences pedophiles to the death penalty, tells homosexuals and alternative-sexuality people to engage in whatever behaviors they like as long as it’s in private and nowhere near children, and naturally, doesn’t want hostile governments anywhere along its borders.

###

President Dwight Eisenhower’s Farewell Address made infamous the “military-industrial complex” machine, but why he neglected to call it the congressional-military-industrial complex like he originally intended is beyond me — particularly when you consider the “forever war” reality is the exact situation against which Eisenhower strived to warn.

Peace, or a cessation of fighting, is the best option, but peace means the gravy train comes to an end—no wonder it’s off the table, and the powers that be are concocting ten-year plans for sending our money to a country with no accountability.

Well, one Congress cannot bind its successor, and there won’t be 67 votes to ratify a treaty - so BFD.

Zelensky’s getting a 10-year annuity paid by U.S. taxpayers.

The best solution for Ukraine is to have it become a permanent NATO and EU member...

or to...

make it the 51st American state.

Might as well face it...

The Ukraine war is a long-term deal, good or bad.

Putin will not be happey hearing about a 10-year deal for Ukraine. Maybe that’s what Zelensky has in mind, to have Putin rethink his war on Ukraine. Russia cannot afford to fight a 10-year war.

They will simply ignore that requirement and make it law.

Heck. We don’t have budgets anymore. Everything is done via Executive Order when it can’t be pushed through. The Supreme Court has abdicated its responsibility as has the Legislative Branch.

It is grim.

Russia cannot afford to fight a 10-year war...

Last I checked they are not $37 trillion in debt and trying to eternally fund three different wars.

Just my $0.02

Short of a treaty, I cannot see how this Congress can obligate the next five Congress is in the next 2 to 3 presidents to a policy. At a bare minimum, another Congress could repeal it.

It’s hilarious they think our economy has 10 years left on it. We would need to find $35 trillion in a suitcase before we could even claim to be flat bro. And in the background, the bricks are the coupling from the dollar along with China and Russia and India.

Oddly enough we have representation. It’s just that they have created a government machine that is quite capable of operating independently of those they represent.

It’s quite humorous to read articles (and listen to people) who say that the US is just light years ahead of Russia, China, and other ostensibly authoritarian regimes when it comes to democratic sophistication. The only thing Western nations seem to do better is HIDE the autocracy behind a veneer of “democracy”.

Neither Ukraine or Russia will be allowed to end this war.

Our only hope for ending this war is President Trump 2024/47.

The Ukranian takeover of the US -- with the assistance of the Democrats and at least one RINO -- is well under way. Just imagine:

The Vindman brothers with Adam Schiff-for-Brains

Democrat who just wants to "serve"
