I would say this is accurate. Have you ever attempted to take a serious look at the core beliefs of why we believe this way rather than a knee-jerk reaction as ex-communicating us because we don’t adhere to the Trinity? Ever ask yourself “why am i so defensive towards these people”?
What does the scripture say, he was praying to the Father. Trinitarians err in that they think Oneness Pentecostals deny the father. Let me ask you a question, when you get to heaven, who do you expect to see, three thrones with three people? A gray haired old man (Father) sitting next to Jesus with a dove or some mystical force (the Holy Spirit) next to them? The book of revelations has the answer... Jesus is the visible representation of the invisible God. I do not believe there are three persons. The almighty God made Himself known to us in the form of a man, Jesus. The Holy Spirit is God, God is a Spirit. Not a third person in some Trinity. If you take the three persons of the Trinity out of the equation it makes sense. Have you ever seen the contradictory original teaching of the Trinity?

I am a Oneness Pentecostal and don’t believe in the doctrine of the Trinity. I also don’t think the term “modalist” is an accurate description of what oneness people believe.

I’m not sure why your friend said this but I don’t think it is the case. To those who haven’t tried Linux, you can download one of the distros, burn it to dvd and boot your computer from the dvd. It lets you use the software without reformatting and installing it on your harddrive. Try Linux Mint, Ubuntu, PCLinuxOS, Mepis, etc... they are called distros. I download them as .ISO files and burn to dvd. I hooked my laptop up to the flatscreen tv, booted into Linux, it automatically loaded the right drivers to display the laptop on the tv screen. I then booted into Windows, it took me a few minutes to get the right settings to make the laptop display on the tv.
