Coverage of the ongoing war has been interesting, to say the least. While many have complained about the biased coverage by the Arabic-language satellite channel Al-Jazeera, this hasn't bothered me too much. In my opinion, it is to be expected. While the phrase "stick it to The Man" may not translate well into Arabic, I'm sure the concept does. What bothers me much more is the cynical, ironic, pessimistic, and downright slanted coverage by the American news organizations (with, of course, the bright shining exception of Fox News, which alone seems to understand that OUR men and women are fighting...

Just heard on Fox News that the Navy SEAL team that captured an offshore Iraqi oil terminal was assisted by Polish special ops, presumably from this unit. But then I forgot that this is a unilateral American action. Never mind.
